Tibet's travel guide has come to the homeless once and for all.

After submitting my resignation and handing over all my work, my mind was always blank for a while, and I suddenly didn't know which direction to go. I live like a zombie every day, drinking, eating and sleeping.

One day, I got up and washed, and when I saw the strange and gaunt face in the mirror, I was immediately shocked by my decadent breath.

It was on that day that I decided to cheer up and stop being decadent. Before I started looking for a job, I decided to take part of the money I earned in the past year to please myself-travel!

Without much detailed planning and consideration, I chose Tibet, Sunshine City in the west, opposite China in the east.

First, traffic.

When the train enters Tibet, it starts from Guangzhou (Z264, preferably choose a sleeper) and ends in Lhasa. The journey takes about 54 hours. Among them, when you arrive in Xining, transfer to the diffusion oxygen train (you must sign two passenger health registration cards)

The plane directly returns or transits, originating from Gongga Airport.

The traffic in downtown Lhasa is very convenient, and the distance between scenic spots is not far. You can walk or take a taxi, or you can take the local electric car. The price is not expensive, and you can bargain, generally within 10 yuan.

Other counties can drive by car or charter with others, but pay attention to choosing regular vehicles. After all, safety is the most important thing. There are not a few car accidents in Tibet every year. Remember to fasten your seat belt!

Second, time.

June to September is the peak season for tourism in Tibet every year. As we all know, Tibet is on the plateau, and the temperature difference between day and night is large. Generally choose to enter Tibet in summer, where the temperature is suitable and the scenery is beautiful, while the weather is relatively cold in winter.

Three. catalogue

Because I plan to stay in Tibet for a short time, about 10 days, my luggage is relatively simple. If you want to travel in depth, it is recommended to travel for at least half a month. (Because the distance between scenic spots is relatively long, for example, it takes about 6 hours from Lhasa to Linzhi)

(1) clothing

1. Two sets of long-sleeved trousers/or short sleeves+sun protection clothes (it is cold in the morning and evening, so it is recommended to add a coat, which can be taken off in hot weather, and the ultraviolet rays are super strong, and the long sleeves are better).

2. At least one thick coat and trousers.

3. A cotton-padded jacket or down jacket (it's super cold when it rains! High altitude areas or deep mountains and forests are also particularly cold! So be sure to bring a set of thick clothes and pants! )

4. A set of pajamas

5. Sun hat or cap

6. Two magic headscarves (can wrap the face, neck, arms, etc. Or used as a sweat towel to wipe sweat)

7. Sunglasses (strong ultraviolet rays, you'd better wear them)

8. Change underwear (this can be prepared in case you don't need to change it)

9. shawl or blanket (you can cover it on the train and plane, but you can wear it in Tibet because it is too cold. Of course, Tibet also sells special shawls)

(2) drugs

1. Catch a cold (If you caught a cold before entering Tibet, don't force yourself to travel. You know, catching a cold on the plateau is a very serious thing, and pulmonary edema is easy to occur. Be careful. Don't be afraid if you accidentally catch a cold on the plateau. Drink plenty of water and take medicine in time. See a doctor if you can't, but I heard that hospitalization is super expensive ~)

I'm not acclimatized (I'm acclimatized anyway, it's up to you to eat or not).

3. Type of getting angry (I bring it because it is easy to get angry)

4. Anti-hyperreflexia: Rhodiola (need to be taken in advance, see the instructions), Ogilvy & Mather oxygen tablets, Gao Yuan 'an and Ginseng tablets (anti-fatigue).

Remarks: I also learned from other people's suggestions on anti-hyperreflexia drugs on the Internet. If I eat them, I will still have hyperreflexia when I get there, but it won't be too serious, so I'm not sure if these drugs will work. Maybe they have at least a positive psychological effect. Whether you take these drugs or not, don't be afraid. Gao Kang is not so terrible. Many people will react, and everyone will be fine.

5. Vitamin C (vitamin supplement, with or without)

6. Glucose (this is still very useful for supplementing energy)

7. Motion sickness medicine (there are many detours in the mountain road)

8. Headache medicine (Fenbid, etc. The headache can be relieved when it is high)

(3) wash.

1. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, combs, mirrors, etc. It is recommended to buy that kind of bathing suit, which is included in the above items, and there are two small bottles of shampoo and shower gel, which is very convenient and saves space.

2. Shampoo shower gel (or buy disposable shampoo without taking a bath on the train)

3. Facial cleanser, moisturizing water emulsion mask, etc. (It depends on the individual, but the weather in Tibet is very dry, remember to moisturize)

4. Sunscreen (spf50, pa+++ products are selected, and friends recommend American National Railway Passenger Transport Company).

(4) Others

1. Kettle (Tibet is really dry, often feel thirsty, drink more water)

2. Umbrella (can be used for rain protection or sun protection)

3. Wet tissue (can be used when it is dry or needs cleaning)

4. chewing gum (if you forget or don't brush your teeth, you can refresh your breath)

5. Data cable, earphone and charging treasure (necessary for going out)

6. Waterproof luggage storage bag (still very useful, conducive to sorting and waterproofing)

7. Camera (in fact, if you are not a photographer, you can bring your usual mobile phone, otherwise you will bring a lot of SLR and so on, which is heavier and may not be used)

8. Eye drops (again, the dry climate may make your eyes uncomfortable, so bring them if necessary)

9. Lipstick (dry can be applied)

10.kindle (mainly boring on the train or on the trip can kill time, with or without it)

1 1. tissue

12. ID card, border card, student ID card, etc.

13. Cash and bank cards (It is very convenient to withdraw money in Lhasa, and CCB, ABC, CITIC, etc. In addition, you should prepare small change, which can be used to take the bus, go to the public toilet, worship Buddha, etc. )

14. Snacks (the train meal tastes ordinary, and the price of instant noodles is a little more expensive than usual. You can take some or get off at the station. You may find an interesting phenomenon in the process of rising altitude. The food packaging bag will gradually expand or even burst, so it can be deflated first ~)

15. pens, notebooks, etc. (pens are needed on the train)

Fourth, matters needing attention

(1) Shopping

1. When we arrive at a certain scenic spot, everyone may want to buy some souvenirs or something. Remember to negotiate the price before buying, and be more careful when it comes to medicinal materials. After all, there are still fakes (in fact, it is best to buy them in regular stores. I heard that some scenic spots may be forced to buy and sell.

2. Some people may want to buy oxygen cylinders, especially in places with high altitude such as Mount Qomolangma in Namco. There may be a place to sell oxygen bottles along the road. These places are generally more expensive, so you might as well buy them in shops and hotels in Lhasa.

3. If you want to buy beeswax, turquoise, dzi beads, agate, silver and other items, you can go to a regular big store to buy them. If you don't mind copying, you can go shopping to buy it (personally, dzi beads and beeswax are very good. Different numbers of dzi beads represent different meanings and have commemorative value. Many dzi beads have cinnabar on their surfaces, and we also remember not to touch the dzi beads of believers and monks casually. Wearing beeswax is also good for your health, but remember to be authentic, as if rubbing it back and forth will overflow the fragrance)

4. If you want to buy dried yak meat, you can go to a shop called Qisheng, try it for free, and then buy it (I especially like dried yak meat with five flavors! Super delicious! I remember 89 yuan /250g, which is also sold in online stores, but it doesn't seem to have that many flavors ~).

(2) take pictures

1. Some scenic spots are not allowed to take photos, such as Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. Please remember to look at the signs when visiting.

2. When you see Tibetan mastiff and yak along the way, you may want to take pictures, but remember to ask if it costs money to take pictures! When I was on the Qinghai-Tibet line, I saw a yak on the road and took a photo with great excitement. As a result, my master asked me for money. 10 yuan! Even if I delete the photo, I still have to pay! Still don't let go! Personal experience! Be sure to look carefully and ask clearly before starting work ~)

(3) Catering

1. There are many Sichuanese in Tibet, and Sichuan restaurants are also very common, so you can see all kinds of Sichuan dishes everywhere.

2. If you want to eat Tibetan food, you can find it near Barkhor Street, or directly search for public comments. Here I recommend a shop-Maggie Amy, which attracts many people. The Tibetan food there is really delicious, and it is really a great enjoyment to enjoy the night view of Barkhor Street while eating upstairs.

Tibetan sweet tea is delicious, similar to milk tea in the mainland, but it tastes purer and the price is super cheap. Here we recommend a shop located in Barkhor Street-Guangminggang Qiongtian Teahouse. There are many Tibetans here, and you can see believers sitting in the corner and drinking a cup of sweet tea leisurely.

4. Buttered tea varies from person to person. Some people like it, others can't drink it. I belong to the kind of person who can't adapt. I feel greasy and salty, which is quite strange. But since we are in Tibet, we might as well give it a try.

5. The highland barley wine tastes ok, the degree is not high, it is similar to beer, and it has the taste of highland barley. You can also try highland barley porridge.

6. Push the yogurt in Lhasa, which is especially delicious, very thick and sour, and then sprinkle with raisins, which is sour and sweet, especially appetizing!

7. There are many potatoes here. Blessed are those who like potatoes! Potatoes also have a local name, called yak eggs. It is said that there was no food in nomadic times, and potatoes were the most common. But at that time, Tibetans didn't know it was called potato, and they thought it looked like an egg, so it was called yak egg.

8. If you go to "Little Jiangnan" Linzhi, you must eat a dish: Tricholoma matsutake stone pot chicken. Linzhi is rich in matsutake. It's cold, and drinking a bowl of soup made of precious herbs will make you tired all day. Recommend a shop in Linzhi called "Tricholoma matsutake stone pot chicken", which is open 24 hours a day ~

9. In Linzhi area, I also went to a shop called "Elao Six Jumping Beef" with my donkey friends. I heard that it is an intangible cultural heritage. I tried. Beef is really delicious, thin but not greasy. By the way, be sure to dip in the sauce! !

10. Surprisingly, on the plateau, the boiling point of water can't reach 100 degrees Celsius.

(4) Sanitary conditions of accommodation

1. It's hard to travel to Tibet, especially the toilets along the Qinghai-Tibet line and the Sichuan-Tibet line, which are particularly disgusting! ! ! There is a charge for going to the toilet, two yuan at a time (which is also the reason for extra change). Flies were flying all over the sky before going in, and the taste was particularly penetrating! The toilet has no doors, no partitions, only sewers. After going to the toilet, there is no water to wash and wash your hands (wet paper towels are used), and the sanitary condition inside can be imagined, with piles of garbage. There is no bathroom in an emergency, so you can only take an umbrella (guess).

The sanitary environment of the hotel is quite good. Of course, there are still some gaps compared with hotels in big cities. If the youth brigade has never lived, it will not be judged.

(5) About rebellion.

Altitude sickness may be a major reason that prevents everyone from entering Tibet, and it is also the point that everyone is most worried about.

I was scared before I came. I bought a lot of anti-hyperresponsiveness drugs and took them honestly. When I arrived in Xining and started to change trains, I couldn't help worrying. After all, this is the first time for me to go to such a high altitude alone. Later, it was really high, and I had a headache and insomnia, but I felt that I could bear it, and the scenery along the way was super beautiful, so I gradually relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

At high altitude, I still have headaches, I get wheezing when I walk in a hurry, and sometimes my nails turn purple, but these are not terrible, and most people can tolerate them. My constitution is quite general, and I don't exercise at ordinary times, but my hyperresponsiveness is not serious, which may vary from person to person. A donkey friend I know has no response at all, so don't worry too much. If you can't breathe oxygen, you can relieve a lot. Of course, it is best to adapt yourself to the environment.

Observing some people around us, we can see that there are several kinds of high reactions: headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort and so on. Most of them are headaches.

If you have a high fever, remember to rest more and don't take strenuous exercise. You'd better stay in bed the night you first arrived in Lhasa. You can drink some sweet tea, buttered tea or glucose and eat some light food.

When you first arrive at the plateau, people with poor resistance had better not take a bath first, mainly for fear of catching cold. After all, colds are terrible. Remember to blow dry your hair before going to bed to prevent headaches.

High reaction is a normal reaction, not so terrible, the most important thing is to relax and face it positively. Thinking about a rare experience is also a unique experience!

(6) About drunken oxygen

It is said that when people return to the plain from the plateau, they will have a drunken oxygen reaction, that is, when there is suddenly more oxygen, the body will not respond.

I don't know about the others, but I feel really drunk. I just came back that week, and I was very listless, weak and dizzy. I just wanted to sleep, and I lay in my body for a week before I slowly recovered.

When you come back from the plateau, remember to rest more and don't stay up late ~

Verb (abbreviation of verb) recommends scenic spots.

Actually, I didn't go to many places. After all, I intend to check in in a hurry, so the following is just a brief introduction to the places I have been.

(A) want to know about Tibetan Buddhism

1. Jokhang Temple (push hard! You can see crowds of pilgrims, or prayer wheels, or three worships and nine knocks. Only by witnessing them with your own eyes can you know what piety is and what faith is. There are many Buddha statues in Jokhang Temple, among which the most precious is the 12-year-old Buddha statue brought by Princess Wencheng, and it is also a Buddha statue that many believers and tourists want to witness with their own eyes. You can stay in Jokhang Temple for a while)

2. Potala Palace (this is also a must-see place to go to Tibet. The highest palace ~ Potala Palace is to climb up, which will be a little breathless, but the scenery is infinitely good! In addition, it is a bit difficult to buy tickets in the peak season, so everyone should be mentally prepared, or queue up or consult local tour groups)

3. Tashbulun Temple (one of the four major temples of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, known outside as "Little Potala Palace")

Remarks: You can also enjoy the palace. These buildings are very distinctive. For example, the red wall of Potala Palace is made of a plant (white grass) unique to Tibet.

(2) Want to go shopping

The first choice is Barkhor Street in Lhasa, which is close to Jokhang Temple, Jokhang Temple and Wangyaoshan. When you are tired, you can stroll around and see all kinds of shawls, thangka, dzi beads, turquoise, beeswax and so on. You can also sit down and have sweet tea and snacks.

(3) Want to see the natural scenery.

1.Namco (Push hard! Words can't be blue and clear, and a casual shot of a mobile phone is a beautiful picture. But pay attention to the weather and high altitude. The climate is abnormal. It is either sunny or snowy. Bring more thick clothes. If necessary, you can rent a military coat and buy oxygen bottles on the road. )

2. Yanghu (Push hard! Personally, I think it is another most beautiful lake besides Namco.

3. Yarlung Zangbo River (the largest canyon in the world, with good weather and good luck overlooking Nange Bawa Peak)

4. Milla Mountain Pass (the only pass from Lhasa to Linzhi, with an altitude of 5018m). It snowed when I went there.

5. Nanyigou (you can see the legendary McMahon Line, where the vegetation is very rich)

(4) I want to feel the folk customs.

1. Zhaxigang Village (you can spend the night there, it's full of stars)

2. Tibet's first folk village (you can visit the place where workers and Tibetans live when you have time)

3. Yang Ni Pavilion (including the Museum of Intangible Culture in Southeast Tibet and the first exhibition hall of Menba and Loba cultures in China).

Eyes in heaven, body in hell.

I will definitely come back anyway!
