Fangshan, a small scenic spot in Beijing, is known as the little Wudang in the north. It is a beautiful ancient village and worth visiting.

I originally planned to visit Zhenwu Temple in Shui Ying Village, which is known as "Little Wudang in the North". I didn't expect the temple to be closed, so I just took a trip in the village!

Shangyingshui Village is located in the southeast of Fozizhuang Township, Fangshan District, Beijing. It became a village in the Qing Dynasty, with an elevation of 308 meters.

Because there are mountain springs gushing out of the village and flowing northward into a river, it is called water gushing, which later evolved into Shui Ying, and Shui Ying poured into Dashi River, forming four villages along this spring ditch, all called Shui Ying, and the locals called water gushing. The village is located in the upper reaches, so it is named Shangying Water Village!

The area of this small village is not large. Because the navigation is set in Zhenwu Temple, the car is parked in the parking lot at the entrance of the temple. The parking lot is also a big viewing platform overlooking the small village!

Mountains and rivers in the distance, winding alleys and terraced fields on the side are all lonely scenery in winter, but they are also beautiful!

Zhenwu Temple was built in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. Zhenwu Temple is now a free temple mainly opened by Taoism in the whole country. In history, there were many pilgrims in the upper reaches, and the incense was very strong. It is also a key cultural relics protection unit in Beijing!

There is a temple fair here on April 18 of the lunar calendar every year. At that time, the surrounding villagers will come to the temple fair to worship the gods, watch plays and shop, which will be very lively.

It's a pity that I couldn't visit this trip, but it's good to leave a thought, because I will definitely come again!

The incense burner at the entrance of the temple, with rolling mountains in the background, feels like a fairy inexplicably!

There is also nine temples in the village, which are now open to the outside world, and it seems that incense is still very popular, offering sacrifices to land, mountain gods, martial arts, fox spirits, dragon kings, insect kings, Vulcan gods, Guan Yu and Guanyin. There are also kiln gods in the Nine Temples here, probably because there used to be a coal mine here!

There is also a coal mine ruins park in the village. There are neat rows of coal trucks and some machines I don't know. It should all be related to coal mines!

As one of the overall relocation villages in Fangshan District, Shangyingshui Village has moved to the surrounding areas of Liangxiang, and now the house you see is a homestay tour developed in the village!

Some courtyards with carved beams and painted columns have never been carefully inspected. Most of them are houses developed from old houses, and they still retain an ancient meaning of the countryside, which is very popular!

I met a local elder sister who works here, so I talked with her. She pointed to several cauldrons in the yard and said that she was stewing farm dishes. As soon as I heard that I couldn't visit Zhenwu Temple, I told you to find a house next to the temple and let them open the door!

After thanking her politely, say goodbye. In fact, just follow the fate of the scenery!

There is an unopened coffee shop in the middle of the village, but the platform on the roof is open. After climbing the stairs, I found it is also an excellent viewing platform. The distant mountains and the small courtyard with white walls and gray tiles nearby have a panoramic view!

Built on the mountain, there is a hiking trail, which is a good place to climb and enjoy the mountain scenery. However, I have never climbed mountains on this trip. If I want to come back when there are flowers all over the mountains or red leaves in autumn, I think the scenery will be more prosperous!

It is close to Yinhu Cave Scenic Area, and the Phoenix Mountain hiking trail shared in September is also nearby. Along the way, there are Xia Ying Water Town and Zhongying Water Town. Friends visiting nearby can come here!

It is suggested that go on road trip, the 948 bus can only go to the vicinity of Yinhu Cave, and it is still 3.5 kilometers away!

I'm March, and I recorded my footsteps with video and words. Small scenic spots and hiking routes in Beijing are all taken by mobile phones for reference only. Thank you for your support and watching!
