Zhuge Liang devoted himself to Nanyang. Which province is Nanyang located in now?

There is no doubt that Nanyang alone must be located in Henan Province in the Central Plains. After all, I am from Nanyang myself. But to say that Zhuge Liang reclaimed Nanyang, it should be Nanyang County in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, which is now the junction of Nanyang City in Henan Province and Xiangyang City in Hubei Province.
