Brief introduction of Yangzhou Slender West Lake

Slender West Lake is located in the northwest of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and is called "Slender West Lake" because of its slender water surface. In the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong visited Yangzhou several times, and local gentry rushed to build gardens, so there was a saying that "gardens are the best in the world".

1988 has been listed as "national important historical and cultural heritage and key scenic spots with Yangzhou garden characteristics" by the State Council. 20 10 was awarded the highest honor in China's tourism industry-the national 5A-level scenic spot, and it is also the first national 5A-level scenic spot in Yangzhou.

20 12 April, Slender West Lake Scenic Area won the honorary title of advanced collective of national tourism system.
