History of Pangu Cultural Tourism Zone in Wenbifeng, Hainan

The natural generation of writing style has a long history. As early as100000 years ago, before Qiongzhou Strait was formed under the influence of intense Himalayan movement, Wenbi Peak had already sprung up. About 3000 years ago, the vast forests of Hainan Island began to form the earliest ethnic group-Li nationality.

Taoism, as a local religion in China, was introduced into Hainan Island from the mainland during the Northern Song Dynasty.

Wenbifeng is the last secluded place of Bai Yuchan, the fifth ancestor of the Southern Sect of Taoism, and is honored as the "altar of the Southern Sect" by Taoism.
