Grassland, temple, go on road trip to Gannan, when is the right time to go? What scenic spots are worth recommending?

Many students will refute that Gannan is unpopular, but Gannan has long been very popular, okay? Of course, this cold weather is still aimed at the Xinjiang, Tibet, Yunnan and Qinghai lines that were popular last year.

I once went to Gannan as a backpacker alone. I flew from Shanghai to Lanzhou. There was no train at Lanzhou airport at that time. I took the airport bus across the Yellow River, and then, according to the strategy, the bus went directly to Lanzhou South Bus Station (which station is a bit blurred now), waiting for the bus to go to Gannan the next day.

At that time, there was a bus to Diebu County every day at that station, and my destination was Zhagana. All the way, starting from Lanzhou, Linxia, Hezuo, langmusi, Sang Ke Grassland, Diebu County, Zhagana.

Islamic Mosque, Tibetan Buddhist Pagoda, Gannan Grassland, Diebu Canyon, what impressed me most was that the bus stopped at a mountain pass and the driver roared: Rest! The men in the car filed down, urinating on the cliff, Hui brothers in white hats, Tibetan brothers in national costumes, backpackers carrying cameras.

There were no highways at that time. It takes about 7 hours from Lanzhou to Diebu County, and then I called a taxi to Zhaga. It's getting dark! The road should be much better now.

I have been to many places over the years, but I can still remember the details clearly. I met many foreigners, especially in langmusi, in a place with ethnic integration, beautiful scenery and inconvenient transportation.

Linxia

This place is an important Islamic town in China. If you drive down from Lanzhou and pass by Linxia, you can try the local Dongxiang finger food, which is very good. By the way, this year we seem to say that there are fewer sheep and we can't forget our feelings.

The C-cafe in this area, the cultural holy land of Amdo Tibetan area and one of the six Gelug temples, is known as the "Tibetan University of the World".

Sang Ke grassland

Gannan's famous grassland has opened many expansion camps in recent years.

There is also a wild luxury, Gannan grassland and Notting tent camp, which is only open for five months a year!

At an altitude of 3200 meters, a winding river surrounds 70 square kilometers of vast land on the unknown Gannan Sangke grassland. Yidan Jeb and his wife Deqing? Here, Estee built the first nomadic camp in China-Notting Norden with carpets.

There are only 13 tents and wooden houses in the whole camp. Since its opening on April, 2065,438, it has only been opened in May and June every year. There are no modern facilities and disposable toiletries here, but it has been selected as one of the top ten best field camps in the world by National Geographic magazine.

This is the famous mirage Eight Buddha Pavilion! When I went there, there was a bus at the entrance of Foge. It's a tour group from Italy to China, which specializes in traveling from Xi 'an to Gannan. An important stop is the Cooperation Buddha Pavilion.

Gannan grassland

From cooperation to Gahai, there are rolling Gannan grasslands on both sides of the road, which is very recognizable! Especially because sitting in the car and looking out, the height of the grassland is constantly changing like the desktop of a computer!

Langmusi

Among the many appellations of Little Swiss in China, there are several places, such as Lulang in Linzhi, langmusi in Gannan, and Aershan-langmusi in the northeast, which are somewhat similar, but with different styles.

Langmusi is more than 3,300 meters above sea level, so it is particularly necessary to climb a high slope, which is a place where Gannan area may stand the test of high rebellion. The altitude of the celestial burial platform should be similar to Lhasa, not high, but it is enough to walk all the way.

Below langmusi, there are many homestays, hotels, restaurants and bars, which are also the most lively places in Gannan. From the highway in langmusi, it will soon be the border between Sichuan and Gansu.

Zagana

Gotta go, Zagana! Chinese national geography magazine listed it as one of the top ten unnamed peaks in China. I was fooled by this name and went to Gannan!

In Tibetan, Zagana means "stone box". Surrounded by mountains, the locals call it "Shicheng". On the way to Zhagana, there are three stone gates, Naga Stone Gate bears the brunt, followed by the towering Zhagana Stone Gate, which blocks the way and stimulates people's desire to explore the world behind the stone gate. Bypassing the narrow Zhagana Stone Gate, an open space appeared in front of us. The third stone gate, Guanggaishan Stone Gate, towering in the north, you can reach Zhagana through it. The gray limestone of Guanggai Mountain shines brightly in the morning light, and the locals call it "Shijingshan".

As early as 1922, Joseph Charles Francis Rock, an Austrian-born American botanist and anthropologist, left his footprints in Zaga, and then he published photos and articles in National Geographic magazine, which provided rare materials for Hilton to create Lost Horizon.

In Zagana, the conditions are limited. There are many homestays and Tibetan families in the local area, so you can try the local free-range Tibetan pigs.

If you have time, you must arrange a day hiking in the secret land behind the village. The scenery is great.

From all aspects, summer is the best season to go to Gannan, because the main color of Gannan grassland is green. Of course, the National Day is ok. The color of Zhagana is yellow, but the color of grassland is not as bright as that in summer.
