? Myth # 1: A study tour is a group outing

NO, this view is wrong!

research travel focuses on "research" (research study) rather than "travel". It can be said that research travel is to move the classroom outside the school, integrate education into the road, and regard the world as a learning classroom. Primary and secondary schools in Kuiwen District have begun to implement the pre-audit of "research courses", realizing the organic integration of research courses, teaching materials and classrooms, which not only cultivates children's interdisciplinary learning ability and the ability to solve practical problems by integrating what they have learned, but also cultivates children's life ability and team spirit through group travel and centralized accommodation. The study tour in primary and secondary schools in Kuiwen District always adheres to the concept of "curriculum". As long as you study, there must be courses, and the study tour is by no means "going out to play".

"The study tour for primary and secondary school students is an off-campus education activity which is organized and arranged by the education department and the school in a planned way, and is a combination of research study and travel experience through group travel and centralized accommodation. It is an innovative form of the connection between school education and off-campus education, an important content of education and teaching, and an effective way to educate people through comprehensive practice."

Myth 2: Students must be forced to participate in the study travel activities, and the principle of voluntary participation of parents and students must be followed. Every child is an independent individual. At different stages of growth, children's needs and parents' requirements will not be completely consistent. The school will not force children to participate in study tours. If study tours become a burden for you and your children, it will also violate our original intention.

If conditions permit, the school will try its best to provide children with multiple choices of study tours to meet the needs of different children. For children who are not suitable to participate in the study tour, the school will make reasonable arrangements and actively explore practical activities in the school to help children who do not participate in the study tour gain something.

"At present, China has entered the decisive stage of building a well-off society in an all-round way, and research travel is in a promising period of development opportunities. All localities should put research travel in a more important position and promote the healthy and rapid development of research travel."

Misunderstanding 3: Study travel needs to be carried out during holidays

Study travel is a characteristic compulsory course, and it is a comprehensive practical activity course with the organic integration of on-campus teaching needs and off-campus teaching resources. Since it is a course, it can be organized by students' school time. In order to ensure the effect of research travel and the safety of students, and reduce the travel cost, the school will organize activities to stagger the peak period of tourism as much as possible.

"The school arranges group study tours at least twice every academic year, usually in grades 4 to 6 of primary school, grades 1 to 2 of junior high school and grades 1 to 2 of senior high school, and tries to stagger the peak period of tourism."

Misunderstanding 4: Study travel is neither safe nor standardized

The safety of children must be the most concerned by parents and friends, and safety must be placed in the first place whenever and wherever, and study travel is no exception. In addition to the Service Specification for Research Travel (LB/T 54—216) issued by the National Tourism Administration, the Education and Sports Bureau of Kuiwen District has established a perfect review and filing system for research travel to ensure the personal safety of students and standardize the work of school research travel.

We innovatively put forward the pre-audit system of "safety emergency plan", and at the same time require schools to make detailed activity plans and schemes before organizing study tours, and buy corresponding insurance for students. School activity plans can only be organized after being approved by the education authorities. More importantly, schools will strengthen safety supervision and management during the study tours to avoid accidents.

"The study tour should adhere to safety first, establish a safety guarantee mechanism, clarify safety guarantee responsibilities, implement safety guarantee measures, make a risk list, improve the pre-plan system, and carefully organize and deploy to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the study tour."

Misunderstanding 5: Study travel is an activity organized by the Family Committee

It needs to be clear that the study travel of primary and secondary school students is an off-campus educational activity organized by the education department and schools, not an outing activity organized by the Family Committee. However, it does not mean that parents can ignore it if it is not organized by the family Committee. Successful education must be the result of the joint efforts of schools, families and society. Years of educational experience and common sense tell us that the role of teachers is important, but parents are better companions and life mentors for children. The smooth progress of the study tour must be inseparable from the active participation and strong support of parents. Parents' opinions and suggestions are also crucial for schools.

"All primary and secondary schools should combine the local conditions, incorporate the study tour into the school education and teaching plan, make overall consideration with the comprehensive practical activity curriculum, promote the organic integration of the study tour and the school curriculum, and carefully design the study tour activity curriculum, so as to achieve lofty goals, clear objectives, lively activities and effective learning, and avoid the phenomenon of" only traveling without learning "or" only learning without traveling "."

Misunderstanding 6: Study travel is meaningless and valuable

On December 16, 214, at the national study travel pilot promotion meeting, Comrade Wang Dinghua, then director of the First Division of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education, pointed out that Study tour is an important measure to implement the Outline of the National Medium-and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (21-22) and the spirit of the 18th National Congress and the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee. It is an important carrier to cultivate and practice socialist core values; It is an important way to comprehensively promote quality education in primary and secondary schools; It is an important part of the combination of school education and off-campus education. Just like a saying circulating on the Internet: "Either travel or study, one of body and soul must be on the road".

"Carrying out study tours is conducive to promoting students to cultivate and practice socialist core values, and stimulating students' love for the party, the country and the people; It is conducive to promoting the full implementation of quality education, innovating talent training mode, guiding students to actively adapt to society, and promoting the deep integration of book knowledge and life experience; It is conducive to accelerating the improvement of people's quality of life, meeting students' growing tourism needs, cultivating students' awareness of civilized tourism from an early age, and developing civilized tourism behavior habits. "

Are you relieved to see this? "Read thousands of books before Wan Li Road, read countless people in Wan Li Road, and think back after Wan Li Road".

The classroom on the road, the open classroom and the walking education make the world within reach, and children go to society and nature, which is a new way of learning.

Spring is blooming. I hope every child can bring his full suitcase into the happy classroom, plant small seeds of happiness and grow up with harvest.
