According to comprehensive calculations by the National Tourism Administration Data Center, the total number of tourists nationwide on February 1 was 27.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%; tourism revenue was 34 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%.

Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and other cities have become popular destinations for return trips.

In terms of railways, railway bureaus in many places have opened additional trains, and train tickets to first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are relatively tight.

In terms of civil aviation, popular routes include: Harbin, Sanya, Beihai, Nanchang and other places to Guangzhou; Changchun, Shenyang and other places to Beijing; Changsha, Dalian and other places to Shanghai; Hefei, Chongqing and Shenzhen direction.

In terms of highways, the traffic flow on expressways and main transportation corridors around major cities across the country has increased significantly.

Due to the increase in travel volume and the surge in return passenger flow, road congestion is likely to intensify.
