Biyun Peak is located in Cangshuipu Town, Heshan District, Yiyang City, Hunan Province. It was called Xiongxiang Mountain in ancient times, also known as Qingxiu Mountain and Qingxiu Mountain. The famous Confucian Zhang Shi of the Southern Song Dynasty and Zhu Xi, the master of Neo-Confucianism, admired Bifeng's beauty and built a residence here to give lectures. Since the Song Dynasty, many literati and guests have left popular poems here.

Biyun Peak now has a new temple and a road around the mountain, and the mountain road to the peak has also been widened and rebuilt. The scenery remains the same and the temples remain the same, making it a great place for sightseeing and vacation.
