The prosecutor's office accused Jiang Shan of taking advantage of his positions as secretary of the Huangshan District Party Committee and district chief of Huangshan City, director of the Anhui Provincial Tourism Bureau, mayor of Chuzhou City, and secretary of the Chuzhou Municipal Party Committee from 1999 to 2013. In terms of land transfer fee return, project development and construction, scenic spot grade declaration, tourism development fund issuance, etc., seeking benefits for others, illegally accepting RMB 4.2 million, shopping cards worth 50,000 yuan, and Shoushan stone worth 89,000 yuan,** *Total equivalent to RMB 4.339 million. Jiang Shan retracted his confession in court, lacking sufficient reasons, inconsistent with the facts, and inconsistent with other evidence.
