4a level scenic spot evaluation standards

1. Service quality and environmental quality

*** Total 1000 points, divided into 8 major items, the scores for each major item are: 130 points for tourism and transportation, 235 points for sightseeing points: 80 points for tourism safety, 140 points for health, 20 points for post and telecommunications, 50 points for tourism and shopping, 200 points for comprehensive management, and 145 points for resource and environmental protection. 4A tourist attractions need to reach 850 points.

2. Landscape quality

It is divided into two evaluation items, resource element value and landscape market value, and nine evaluation factors, with a total score of 100 points, of which: resource attractiveness is 65 points , market attractiveness is 35 points. 4A tourist attractions need to reach 80 points.

3. Tourist opinions

The overall tourist satisfaction score is 100 points, and 4A tourist attractions need to reach 80 points.

Introduction to the application procedures for 4A-level tourist attractions:

1. On the basis of self-inspection and self-examination, tourist attractions that meet the corresponding grade rating standards will be eligible for tourism in the district (city) or county. The Bureau submits an application report.

2. The provincial and municipal tourist attraction quality rating committees appoint experts to provide consultation and guidance.

3. If the district (city) or county tourism bureau verifies that it meets the standards, it will submit an application report to the scenic spot quality rating committee of the municipal tourism bureau (municipal tourism bureau).

4. After the preliminary review by the Municipal Tourism Bureau’s Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee (experts organized by the Municipal Tourism Bureau), the application will be reported to the Provincial Tourism Bureau’s Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee.

5. The Provincial and Municipal Tourism Bureau Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee organizes on-site inspections and unannounced visits. After the Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee of the Provincial Tourism Bureau passes the review, it will be recommended to the national quality rating agency.

6. The National Tourism Administration Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee organizes reviews and announcements.
