How long does it take from Shanghai to Putuo Mountain? How to get there?

There is no direct bus to Mount Putuo. Visitors can take a bus to shenjiamen Putuo Bus Station on Zhoushan Island, and then to Banshoudong Wharf (shenjiamen Putuo Bus Station-Banshoudong Wharf: take bus 1 yuan, taxi 5 ~ 10 yuan) and transfer to the ferry to Putuo Mountain.

There is a big traffic in Xujiahui, Shanghai-the top of Putuo Bus Station in shenjiamen.

There are two shifts every day, starting from Shanghai at 9: 30 and 10: 00 respectively (please consult Luchao Port Terminal for details).
