On June 1, 1929, after Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Feng 'an, the then Sun Yat-sen Cemetery Management Committee decided to build a memorial flower and tree area of Sun Linggang, and cultivated a large area of plum blossoms. Later, the area of plum gardens continued to expand, and the varieties increased year by year, making it a scenic spot for tourists to enjoy plum blossoms. One of Sun Linggang gradually disappeared in people's memory, and its name was Meihua Mountain instead.
