Speaking of Chishui, the first thing that comes to mind is the story of Sidu Chishui mentioned in the book. The beauty behind the profound Red Army culture adds a humanistic atmosphere. Chishui is more famous because of Danxia. Let's take a look at such a scenic spot.

First, Chishui Waterfall

The core scenic spot in the scenic spot is one of the must-see scenic spots. If Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in China, Chishui Waterfall, which is 8 meters higher than Huangguoshu Waterfall, is the second largest waterfall. This is the largest waterfall in Danxia landform in China.

The scenic spot is more than 30 kilometers away from Chishui city. There is a huge head carved with stone at the entrance of the scenic spot, which is called the beauty of the empty valley. When I saw this sculpture, I basically arrived at Chishui Scenic Area!

The tourist road in Chishui Valley connects every beautiful place in series:

Chishui Waterfall, Bing 'an Ancient Town, Foguangyan, Yanzi Rock, Sidonggou Scenic Area, etc. The road conditions are good and the scenery along the way is beautiful. There is a fork in the road at the gate, one side is the road taken by tourists, and the other side is the road taken by battery cars, so you can choose for yourself.

Enter from the walking plank road, pass through the ancient road of raiders of the lost ark, and you can go to Beauty Brush Waterfall.

Beauty combs the waterfall gently and delicately, so it is suggested to go up the mountain first, then go down by car, visit one by one, and leave the most beautiful scenery at the end, so that there will be more surprises and enough motivation to climb the mountain.

Transportation:

Chishui tourist station-Lianghekou (terminal), and then walk 1 km to the entrance of the scenic spot.

Tip:

There are few places to eat in the scenic spot, so it is recommended to bring your own dry food. You can take a raincoat as a backup in summer.

Second, Foguangyan

Foguangyan Scenic Area (formerly known as Five Everest Scenic Area) is also located in Houyuan Town, Chishui City, 42 kilometers away from the urban area and 30 kilometers away from the ancient town of Bing 'an.

Broken rocks and valleys are very different in height. Recommended shooting locations for Foguang Rock are: first, under the waterfall, second, the cave, and third, the observation deck at the top of Foguang Rock. The best shooting time is 4~6 pm, when the sun just shines on the Foguang Rock.

There is a ring road between Foguangyan and another scenic spot, Mount Everest, and there is a road between them. It takes about four hours to walk in it!

It will take about 2.5-3 hours to go to Foguangyan and the Five Everest Observation Deck respectively. It is suggested to take a bus first, and then walk to Lianhuatai to see the Buddha's Light Rock. There is also a very long uphill on the Wu Zhifeng, which is rare for tourists.

Three. Sidonggou

Sidonggou scenic spot is also located in Datong town, which was the earliest developed. There are four-level waterfalls about four kilometers long between the mountains and streams, including Liangcha River Xiuse, Huaping Waterfall, Dashuigou Waterfall, Shiding Mountain Rock, Fangbeihai Cloud, Datong Zhuxi and Datong Ancient Town.

There are four waterfalls with different feelings and spirits on the river, which is 7 km away from Chishui City/Kloc-0, 5km away from Datong Town and 4km away from the scenic spot. The four caves in this area are actually four waterfalls. Their names are:

The first hole-water curtain cave Waterfall, water curtain cave Waterfall is the only waterfall in Sidonggou that can be seen and touched behind the waterfall; The second cave, Yuehu Waterfall, looks like a crescent moon and is relatively gentle. The third hole-Flying Frog Cliff Waterfall, looks like a frog in the middle of the water; The fourth hole, Bailongtan Waterfall, is magnificent.

After purchasing tickets, there will be a free bus ferry to the gate of the scenic spot, so you need to take a walk in sightseeing bus.

Sightseeing bus went directly to the vicinity of the third hole, got off and walked to the third and fourth holes, and walked 600 meters on the stone mountain road to the third hole. A mini Huangguoshu climbed about 900 meters to the fourth hole.

Four. Bing'an Ancient Town

Bing 'an ancient town is an ideal choice for accommodation, just between scenic spots. As a temporary stop, it is convenient to adjust the itinerary.

A swift river flows along the edge of the ancient town. Riverside is a very famous diaojiao building in Guizhou. Hundreds of logs are supported on the ochre, and the wooden house and the mountain view are perfectly integrated!

The first crossing of the Red Army's fourth crossing of Chishui took place in Bing 'an Ancient Town, where the Red Army Red Army Corps headquarters is located. The head of the Red Army Corps is Lin Biao. After the Zunyi meeting, the Red Army's Long March planned to extend the crossing of the Yangtze River in Chishui River, and the fourth army stationed in Zhangzhang.
