The 2018 Spring Festival Travel Willingness Survey organized by Ctrip Travel Network among young online travelers recently found that 31% of consumers choose to travel to celebrate the New Year. Among them, 33% of single young people who are "fearful of marriage" believe that returning home during the Spring Festival will cause trouble in interpersonal relationships and they are afraid of being forced to get married. In terms of age, the post-90s generation has the highest proportion, accounting for 49%. The first batch of post-95s generation also entered the ranks of "fear of marriage", accounting for more than 30%.

Judging from the actual booking situation, Spring Festival tourism has obvious "younger" characteristics, and the enthusiasm of the post-90s generation is also higher than that of most other groups. Big data from Ctrip Travel shows that as of now, among users who book outbound independent travel and group tour products online, those born in the 1990s account for nearly 25%, second only to those born in the 1980s. The per capita cost of traveling abroad during the Spring Festival exceeds 9,000 yuan. Among consumer groups aged 20 to 30, the proportion of "lone travelers" reaches 20%, and female tourists account for 56% higher than male tourists.
