What reasons have you used to take time off to travel?

I thought about the leave I had asked for, and the reasons were various: short-term leave, and I filled in the reason for the leave and went back to my hometown to go through the house transfer procedures. I also filled in that my parents were busy and had to attend a parent-teacher conference for my younger brother at school. During my longer vacation, I wrote about the personal reasons why I needed minor surgery due to illness, but I didn’t write about the reasons why my family members were seriously ill, which I always felt was unpleasant.
