Qingping Town Eco-tourism Zone is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The ecological ancient city scenic spot of Qingping Town in Gaotang County includes ancient city tourist area and forest park. Located in the northwest of Shandong Province, the "Golden Triangle" center, which consists of Jinan, Liaocheng and Dezhou, has the reputation of "Millennium Ancient Town, Clean Ecology". There is the largest plain forest park in Shandong Province-provincial Qingping Forest Park, which is a newly-built natural ecological forest park, covering an area of 50,000 mu, with a forest coverage rate of over 80% and abundant animal and plant resources. Provincial Qingping Forest Park playground, fishing garden, quadrangle in the forest, five huts, mountain bike path, ecological agriculture picking garden and some amusement facilities have been built. Qingping Ancient City, the former residence of Qingping County, was founded in Song Xuanhe for seven years and has a history of nearly a thousand years. Lv Cai, a famous thinker, musician and philosopher in the Tang Dynasty, emerged one after another. In the Yuan Dynasty, the book left Wang Cheng Maode; Ji Xianlin, a master of contemporary Chinese studies. At present, there are three key cultural relics protection units at the municipal level, namely Yingxumen, the Confucius Temple in Jin Dynasty and the stone carving group of Wang Maode's tomb, which are listed in the Complete Collection of Places of Interest in Shandong Province. In 2000, the provincial government approved it as a central town, and now it is a national AAA-level tourist scenic spot, a national top 100 afforestation towns, a town with beautiful environment in Shandong Province, a famous tourist town with distinctive landscapes in Shandong Province, a strong tourist town in Shandong Province, the first batch of rural tourism demonstration sites in Shandong Province, and an advanced patriotic health town in Shandong Province. 360 antique commercial and residential buildings were built, Dacheng Hall and Toulong Wall of Confucian Temple were restored, and Chi Pan, Panqiao, Xingtan, Dachengmen, Dongxi and Twenty-four Filial Piety Statues, Gaotang Folk Museum, Qingping Xerox Art Museum and Xu Ying Landscape Avenue were built. More than 20 tourist attractions have been added, and a thousand-year-old town with distinctive features and rich cultural connotations has emerged.
