How to handle the procedures for business trips abroad
For business visas, different countries have slightly different procedures. This depends on the regulations of the destination country.
Business tourist visa materials
1. A valid passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the intended period of stay.
2. Confirmation letter for appointment interview.
3.DS-160 form confirmation page.
One 2-inch x 2-inch (5 cm x 5 cm) square, color, frontal photo with a white background, taken within 4.6 months.
5. Passports with previous visas to the United States, including expired passports.

9. A letter of introduction from the applicant’s employer, detailing the applicant’s position, salary, entry date, whether leave is allowed, the purpose of going to the United States to participate in business activities (if any), etc.
10. Criminal/Court Records (regardless of where arrested or convicted, even if sentence has been served or pardoned).
11. If the applicant is a student, please bring transcripts and degree certificates/diplomas, as well as bank statements, fixed deposit slips and other financial proofs.
12. If you are employed, you need to bring the employment certificate issued by the unit and the salary slips for the past three months. Entrepreneurs and company executives should bring proof of their company’s position and salary.
13. If visiting relatives, the applicant should provide evidence to prove that he and the inviter have a real and uninterrupted kinship relationship, and provide the inviter’s immigration status information in the United States. The following documents may be helpful in applying for a visa: household register or other documents that can prove true kinship, photos taken with relatives in the United States in recent years, and copies of relatives’ U.S. passports or green cards (if relatives are staying in the United States for a short period of time, they should be provided Copies of their passport and US visa), etc. If the applicant was last in the United States for a period longer than the period for which he or she was authorized to stay when entering the United States, please present the original extension certificate approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security at the time of the interview.
14. If the applicant has been to the United States before, please bring proof of corresponding identity or visa status, especially all previous US visas (including expired visas).
Process
1. The visa applicant determines the purpose of visiting the United States and the itinerary plan.
2. Log in to the website of the U.S. Embassy in China and the official website for applying for a U.S. visa to browse relevant visa application information and required materials.
3. Fill out the visa application form online (such as DS-160 form).
4. Applicants can pay the visa application fee online, at CITIC Bank ATMs or branches, and keep the receipt number properly to make an appointment for an interview.
5. Make an appointment for an interview (qualified applicants can be exempted from the interview). Applicants can log in to the U.S. visa appointment system or call the appointment center to reserve an interview time and print the appointment interview confirmation letter.
6. Bring the required documents for visa application and go to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in China for an interview according to the appointment time.
7. Waiting for visa review or supplementary materials.
8. After receiving the visa, you should promptly and carefully check whether all the information on the visa is correct, especially whether the visa type, the start and end time of the validity period, the number of entries, etc. are consistent with what you applied for, and whether the individual on the visa is correct. Information such as whether the name is spelled correctly. If you find any errors, you should contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in China promptly.
But there are some common materials that basically every country needs:
1. A completed short-term visa application form, with a close photo of the form;
2. The passport must be valid for three months beyond the validity period of the visa applied for, and a copy of the personal data page of the passport must be attached;
3. A formal letter of introduction issued by the Chinese company (address must be indicated) , telephone number, fax number, applicant’s position, purpose of going to France and guarantee of return) and business license (original, copy and translation);
4. Invitation letter from business partners in business visa countries , which needs to state:
a. Planned time of stay;
b. Purpose, schedule and itinerary.
5. Financial guarantee (reflected in the invitation letter in the form of a letter of guarantee or other forms);
6. Written proof from the inviter or employer that the applicant has international medical insurance (Health insurance, accident insurance...)
7. Chinese citizens need to provide the original and translated copy of their household registration book;
8. Air ticket reservation and contact information with the applicant A hotel reservation that matches the period of stay in the Schengen area (if the applicant also wants to travel to other countries in the Schengen area).
9. Photos: 1 50mm*50mm white background color photo within six months;
10. Business card: 1 U.S. business visa related information
11. Application The original copy of the business license of the company where the person works or a copy with the official seal.
12. Receipt of visa fee from the destination country.

21. Professional certificates, honorary certificates or photos that can prove your identity: accounting qualification certificate, teacher title certificate, etc.
22. Personal tax payment certificate and itinerary arrangements (please prepare if you have specific arrangements for meetings and activities from what date to date)
23. The company's business license (copy with official seal), or business institution code certificate, company introduction materials or company published in newspapers, magazines or online and other relevant materials that can explain the company's operating status and scale and influence.
