Introduction of Longquan Peach Blossom Festival

With flowers as the media, a grand event was held and Longquan's "Peach Blossom Festival" was publicized. Longquanyi, named as "the hometown of China peaches" by the State Council, is the seat of the national Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone, the famous Guohua Mountain and scenic spot in China, and is known as "bloom in four seasons and fragrant fruits in eight festivals". Taohuayuan is located in the ecological tourism functional area of Longquan Mountain in the eastern suburb of Chengdu, a modern garden city in the world. It is the core scenic spot of Huaguoshan Scenic Spot, a famous scenic spot in Sichuan, located in Shanquan Town, Longquanyi District. In the late 1950s, during the Chengdu Conference, Deng Xiaoping was appointed by Mao Zedong to inspect Longquan Mountain and instructed to "build Longquan Mountain into a flower and fruit mountain". The construction of Huaguoshan Scenic Area kicked off in Taohuayuan, forming a beautiful scene of "flowers in four seasons and fragrance of eight fruits".
