Introduction to Tuci Town

Tuci Town is located in the northeasternmost part of Xiangshan County, at the port of Xiangshan, bordering Damu Ocean to the east, Daxu Town to the west, Xianxiang Town to the north, and facing the Zhoushan Islands across the sea. Formed in 1992 by the merger of Tuci and Donggang townships, the town has 21 administrative villages with a population of 23,000. The total area is 62 square kilometers and the coastline is 38 kilometers long. The cultivated land area is 847.67 hectares, the tidal area is 833.33 hectares, the mountain forest area is 2572 hectares, and there are 98 islands and reefs. Industry, agriculture, fishery, animal husbandry and forestry have distinctive characteristics and are known as "garden on the ground and vegetable garden on the sea". It is 37 kilometers away from Ningbo East Railway Station and has convenient transportation. The town has 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction and is rich in tourism resources. The two scenic spots of Daoren Mountain and Luanjiaoyang have been included in the Xiangshan County Gold Coast Tourism Belt Plan.
