Liangshan uprising in history;

Liangshan Uprising, also known as Sung River Uprising, was a popular uprising in the late Northern Song Dynasty. His deeds have been continuously interpreted by later generations and become the historical prototype material of Water Margin.

In the first year of Xuanhe (1 1 19), Song Jiang rallied 36 people to revolt in Liangshan (Liangshan Dragon), led his troops to attack Heshuo and JD.COM East Road (now Qingzhou, Shandong), and moved to Qingzhou, qi zhou (now Jinan, Shandong) and Zhou Pu (now Juancheng North, Shandong).

In December, Hou Meng of Bozhou, Huizong South suggested to surrender Sung River, but failed, so he ordered Zeng Xiaoyun, who was well known in Yinzhou, to lead an army to conquer it. Song Jiang went south from Qingzhou to Yizhou (now Linyi, Shandong).

In the third year of Xuanhe (1 12 1), he captured the Huaiyang Army (now Suining, Jiangsu) and arrived in Haizhou (now Lianyungang, Jiangsu) by boat from Shuyang. In May, after Song Jiang led the people ashore, he was ambushed by Zhang Shuye, the magistrate of Haizhou, and the ship was burned. Song Jiang was defeated and captured, and the uprising failed.

In some unofficial history after the Southern Song Dynasty, it is often recorded that Song Jiang participated in the levy of Fang La. However, the story of "Dongduji" listed Pingfeijiang after Fangla, and the epitaph of Zheke Village also said that Zheke Village participated in the Battle of Pingfeijiang after Fangla.
