Tourist attractions near Taizi Road in Shekou:

Shekou Universal Park was established in 1987. The total area of the garden is 1357 10.39 m2, and the investment in that year was 30 million yuan. 1987 has been continuously improved year by year since its opening, adding artistic sculptures, children's playgrounds, clubs, art teahouses, bookstores and other scenic spots and cultural facilities. Now it has become a cultural park for people's leisure and entertainment in Shekou District.

There are 13 main buildings and scenic spots in the park, such as "Same Season Garden", "Diaoyutai", "Flower Pavilion", "Rain Pavilion", "Lake Pavilion", "Curved Gallery" and "Rain Shelter Pavilion", all of which have Lingnan garden characteristics and reflect the ingenuity of landscape planners. The park carefully cultivated and protected 6 19 litchi trees in the past century. The annual income of litchi not only provides a lot of fresh litchi for the market, but also provides a source for the lack of funds in the park.

There are two artificial lakes in the park, of which the East Lake is mainly planted with lotus flowers and the West Lake is mainly a water amusement park project with a total area of 39,600 square meters. Between the two lakes, there are "Jiuqu Bridge" made by imitating pine trees, "Yudai Bridge" featuring Suzhou gardens and water towns, "Qubanqiao" as small and exquisite as a wooden bridge, and "Jiukong Bridge" imitating the garden of Beijing Summer Palace. What is more prominent is that among the scenic spots in the park, there is a large-scale artistic sculpture called "The Golden Bull of the Earth", which is 30 meters high and is the largest Daniel sculpture in the world at present. It was designed by China contemporary artist Han Meilin, composed by famous playwright Wei Minglun and written by calligrapher Kang Ying.

Park full-time employees 1 1 person, temporary employees 19 people (including 4 contracted park enterprises). Admission to the park is free, with 8,000 people every day, and more than 2 million people come to the park for morning exercise and play throughout the year. During holidays, various mass cultural activities carefully arranged and held by the park attract a large number of tourists inside and outside the park.
