Must-see attractions in Jingbo Lake Travel Guide

Jinghu Scenic Area is located in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, China. It is a natural landscape formed by volcanic eruptions thousands of years ago and is also the largest mountain barrier lake in China. There are eight scenic spots in the scenic area that are worth visiting. Every summer (June-September), there are also special theatrical performances.

1. Jingbo Lake Dagushan

It is a remnant of the earth's crust, mainly granite. Dagushan is about 150 meters above the water and has dense forests. In the spring season, Dagu Mountain is filled with colorful wild flowers such as apricot blossoms, plum blossoms, roses, and azaleas, so it is also called "Huashan Mountain".

2. Xiaogushan, Jingbo Lake

Located in the middle lake of Jingbo Lake, more than 60 miles away from the head of Beihu Lake, it is a remnant left after the earth's crust broke. Xiaogushan is 19 meters above the water, and its area is one-fifth of the size of Dagushan in Jingbo Lake, about 2,000 square meters.

3. Diaoshuilou Waterfall

Also known as Jingbo Lake Waterfall, it is located in the southwest of Ning'an City, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. The width of the waterfall is approximately 70 meters. When the rainfall is heavy, the width is more than 300 meters. Drop 20 meters. The pool below it is 60 meters deep and is called "Black Dragon Pool".

4. Baishi Lazi

Baishi Lazi is located in Jingbo Lake, Ning'an County, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, on the left bank of Gushan Qianhu. This is a white cliff island piled with white stones and is one of the famous attractions in the lake. Lazi is a dialect word, referring to the big stone standing on the mountain. Baishilizi is one of the "Eight Inner Scenic Spots" in Jingbo Lake.

5. City wall.

Located in the middle of Jingbo Lake, on the southwest bank of Xiaogu Mountain, the mountain is steep. There are ruins of an ancient city on the mountain. According to research, it is the old city of Huzhou on Shangjing Road, Bohai State, and the terrain is dangerous. Although it has experienced thousands of years, most of the walls are still standing, so we can see the characteristics of its past. You can see a panoramic view of the city.

6. Laoguazilian

Also known as Laoshan Mountain, it is a small island in the south of Jingbo Lake. It lies in the lake like Grandma An, hence its name. Pines and cypresses on the mountain, crows in the forest. The trees on the island are tall and dense, and Laomen's nests are dotted on the branches. There are also water birds such as egrets, water birds, and mandarin ducks in the nearby waters, so this place is also a paradise for water birds.

7. Taoist Mountain

It is actually an island located in the south of Jingbo Lake. Passing through the Pearly Gate and overlooking both sides of the lake, there is a mountain standing in the lake, 78 meters above the water. This is "Taoist Mountain". There are mountains on both sides of it, like "two dragons playing with pearls".

8. Jingbo Lake Pearl Gate

Not far from the city wall, there are two small islands on the lake, like pearls, facing the lake, only 10 meters apart, like a Natural gateway. The two small reef mountains sparkle like crystal dewdrops floating on lotus leaves. Stories about pearl production are passed down from generation to generation. In ancient times, it was said that there was a shop on Sun's Pearl Gate Island, and all passers-by lived there.
