Details about the Korean language classes at Sejong Academy of Guangzhou University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou
Sejong Academy is an open Korean language and culture school established by the National Institute of Korean Language for overseas Korean language learners. Guangdong University of Foreign Studies obtained permission to open the King Sejong Academy through application. The cost of opening the school was provided by South Korea. The teachers and lecture locations were arranged by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Participants were free of charge. The school has been open for one period from October 2007 to January 2008. The registration was enthusiastic and the students were active in learning. 60 students have passed the graduation examination. We are now planning to recruit students in the first half of 2008 (May to June). This time, just like last time, classes will be held in two locations, namely the Guangzhou Office of the Korea Tourism Development Bureau in Tianhe Fortune Plaza and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. The class will start on September 9 Zhou, *** taught 36 hours.
