Hainan can't become a world-famous tourist island yet. There are many reasons, and I think the main ones are as follows:

2. The traffic in Hainan is relatively backward. Hainan is surrounded by the sea, but there is no international trade port. Although the airport construction has achieved remarkable results in recent years, the ticket price is too expensive during busy hours, which is higher than that of international flights. In addition to Haikou, the provincial capital, the taxi market is still not perfect, and the towns are dominated by black cars, making it difficult for towns and villages to take taxis.

The market of hotels and restaurants is still immature, and the prices are often too high in the peak season, which makes tourists very sad.
