APTO is based in the Asia-Pacific and provides help and support for the expanding exchanges and cooperation between members and members, and between members and non-members on the basis of equality and mutual assistance. The APTO Secretariat is currently located in Hong Kong.

Build an equal, democratic, and high-level international tourism cooperation organization to promote the realization of the tourism development goals of Asia-Pacific countries and the world by promoting exchanges and cooperation among the tourism community.
