The Best Route Map of One-day Tour of the Summer Palace —— Composition of One-day Tour of the Summer Palace

The Summer Palace in Beijing is definitely the best choice and destination for many first-time visitors to Beijing. Here, you can feel the harmonious charm of old Beijing and experience various historical scenes that are thought-provoking. Here, I want to share with you the experience of a one-day trip to the Summer Palace.

1, tour route

Beigongmenjin-Suyunyan Chengguan, Zhongyu Road, Suzhou Street Bridge and Seven-hole Pier take this boat to Yiyuntang, Nanhu Island, Tongniu East Dike, Wenchang Pavilion, Deheyuan Yulantang and Seven-hole Bridge.

Enter from Beigongmen, walk to Suyunyan Chengguan in the circle, take a boat trip to the lake, that is, 1 line, to the pier of the 17-hole bridge, then walk along the road from the 17-hole bridge, that is, Line 2, and leave from Beiruyimen.

In fact, we can see that we didn't finish visiting the Summer Palace, but we spent more than four hours visiting it.

Admission: 30 yuan/person.

2. Traffic guide

The Summer Palace, formerly known as Qingyi Garden, is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, which is 0/5 km away from the urban area/kloc-and covers an area of about 290 hectares. It is a large-scale landscape garden based on Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain in Hangzhou West Lake and drawing lessons from the design techniques of Jiangnan gardens. It is also the best-preserved royal palace and is known as the "Royal Garden Museum".

I have been to the Summer Palace when I traveled to Beijing more than ten years ago, and now I have revisited my old place. Compared with more than ten years ago, I feel that the Summer Palace has basically changed.

The Summer Palace has six entrances and exits: North Ruyi Gate, North Palace Gate, East Palace Gate, Xinjian Palace Gate, South Ruyi Gate and West Gate of the Summer Palace. We saw that getting off the subway line 4 can go directly to Beigongmen Station, which is very convenient, so we can enter the park from Beigongmen.

3. Travel notes

As soon as you enter the North Palace Gate, you can see a stone tablet, telling that the predecessor of the Summer Palace was Qingyi Garden, which was built in the 29th year of Qianlong (1764). 1860, Qingyi Garden was destroyed by the fire of British and French allied forces. From 1884 to 1895, she abdicated for Empress Dowager Cixi and ordered the reconstruction of Qingyi Garden in the name of Emperor Guangxu. Due to limited funds, she concentrated her financial resources on repairing the Qianshan complex and built a wall around Kunming Lake, which was renamed the Summer Palace. 1900, the buildings and cultural relics in the park were destroyed by Eight-Nation Alliance, and were restored in 1902. Although the Summer Palace has largely restored the landscape of Qingyi Garden, its quality has declined.

Suzhou street

After the entrance of Beigongmen, it is Suzhou Street. Although it seems that there are many shops, it seems that none of them are open.

Further on, the Jinling point directly opposite is being repaired.

Along the way, I also saw the ruins of burned buildings.

Go all the way to Suyunyan Chengguan, and then take a boat to the 17-hole bridge pier. If the fare is right, 40 yuan/person.

Su Yan Chengguan

By boat, there is a feeling of crossing the West Lake in Hangzhou. Seeing the scenery around the lake is really similar to that around the West Lake.

The ship docked at the pier of the seventeen-hole bridge. After landing, we first visited the 17-hole bridge, and then came to Nanhu Island, an island in the center of the lake.

Seventeen-hole bridge was built in the 15th year of Qianlong (1750), east of the east dike and west of Nanhu Island, with a total length of150m. It is the longest existing bridge in the royal gardens of China. There are more than 500 stone lions carved on the watchtower, and there are four stone beasts at each end of the bridge fence. It is a masterpiece of stone carving in Qing Dynasty.

After playing all over the landscape, I finally found that the two little guys' favorite scenic spot is this seventeen-hole bridge! I also spend the most time here. The stone lions on the 17-hole bridge have different shapes and are very cute. The two little guys carefully observed each stone lion, looked for different places, found their favorite stone lion, and took various photos with them.

After crossing the 17-hole bridge, we came to Nanhu Island, far away from Wanshou Mountain. There are Han Xutang, Guangrun Yuling Temple, Jianyuantang and professional rooms on the island.

Wanshoushan company

Not far from the pavilion is this bronze cow. There are eight Chinese characters inscribed by Gan Long on the back of the bronze bull: "Jinniu Ming".

When you walk by the lake, do you feel that the scenery in front of you has the visual sense of Hangzhou West Lake?

Go straight along the east embankment and you will arrive at Wenchang Pavilion. This is the largest of the six chengguan buildings in the Summer Palace. Built in the fifteenth year of Qianlong, 1860 was burned by the British and French allied forces and rebuilt in Guangxu. Changge and Suyun eaves symbolize "civil and military integrity".

Go ahead and you will see this Zhichun Pavilion, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of Wanshou Mountain, Kunming Lake, Yuquan Mountain and Xishan Mountain.

Walk past Zhichun Pavilion and you will find this building complex. Yulantang, Yiyuntang, Leshou Hall, Renshou Hall, Dehe Garden, etc. This place is a place with many stories, such as: Renshou Hall, where the emperor is in charge of the government; Yulantang was once the place where Empress Dowager Cixi imprisoned Emperor Guangxu. Guan Yi Garden is the residence of Empress Guangxu. Tang Le, where Empress Dowager Cixi lived, and so on.

In front of the Palace of Eternal Life, there is the pier where Empress Dowager Cixi takes a boat, Shui Mu Ferry Pier.

After visiting this building complex, we came to the promenade! This is also a classic scenic spot. I visited the Summer Palace more than ten years ago. In retrospect, the most impressive are the promenade and the seventeen-span bridge.

There are 273 galleries, with a total length of 728 meters, starting from Yuemen Gate in the east and reaching Zhangshi Pavilion in the west. There are more than 65,438+04,000 figures, landscapes and colorful flowers and birds on the beam, which is the longest gallery in China classical gardens. There are four octagonal pavilions with double eaves in the middle of the corridor: Liujiating Pavilion, Jilan Pavilion, Qiushui Pavilion and Qingyao Pavilion. They are surrounded by mountains and waters, symmetrically distributed from east to west with Paiyundian as the center, connecting the buildings distributed in front of Wanshou Mountain.

The two little guys also had a good time in the long corridor. At first, they looked at the photos overhead, but after a while, they let go and ran around under the porch.

Yaoyuemen

The middle section of Paiyuntang Corridor in Foxiangge Scenic Area. This scenic spot needs extra tickets, and two boys are not interested in this scenic spot. When they saw that they were going to climb up again, they felt too tired and didn't want to go up. I have been there before, but since they are tired and don't want to go this time, we will continue to walk along the corridor and go north to Ruyimen.

Pass by Tsinghua Xuan.

Xuan Qinghua

Go to the west end of the promenade, and a Zhou Shi blue rock boat stops at the lake. The boat body is made of giant stone carvings, which means "the sea is clear and the river is clear". It is the only western-style building in the Summer Palace. This ship has two floors, with stained glass windows and brick carvings.

Continue to walk slowly to the north of Ruyimen and leave the Summer Palace.

I visited a replica of 1: 1 in Hengdian before, and the difference between northern gardens and southern gardens was mentioned in the travel notes written at that time. This visit to the Summer Palace, this feeling is even more profound.

First of all, the most intuitive feeling is that the royal garden is really big! What a big area! Magnificent and large-scale, but Jiangnan gardens, like Suzhou gardens and Yangzhou gardens I have been to, do not have such a large area and are generally relatively small.

Secondly, the architectural styles are different. The architecture of the royal garden is heavy and rigorous, full of style and magnificent. In Jiangnan gardens, the architectural styles are mostly exquisite, delicate and beautiful, with flowing bridges and winding paths.

Thirdly, the use of color is also very different. The royal garden with red walls and blue tiles has bright colors and high saturation. For example, this promenade has bright colors. Most of the gardens in Jiangnan are white walls and tiles, which are quiet and indifferent, elegant and natural.

Finally, in terms of spatial layout, the royal gardens are relatively closed, and the boundaries between internal and external spaces are very clear. For example, the door of a yard is closed, and you can't see what kind of scene is inside. The boundaries are very strict. Jiangnan gardens are relatively transparent, and the internal and external spaces are interconnected and infiltrated, like flower windows and verandahs, enriching the internal and external spaces.
