China’s easternmost island

The easternmost island in China is Dongji Island.

Dongji Island is one of the easternmost islands in the Zhoushan Islands. It has sunshine, blue sea, islands and reefs, seafood, and a strong fisherman style. It is a sacred place for sea fishing culture. Dongji is one of the few tourist attractions in Zhoushan City, besides Putuo Mountain, that tourists choose because of its unique scenery. Because it is far away from the mainland, the sea in Dongji shows the unique blue color of the distant sea in summer. Many tourists also see it because of its unique scenery. Come here because of its reputation.

The East Pole landscape is Qingbang Island, known as the "Potala Palace on the Sea". The fishermen's buildings on the island are built along the coast, layer upon layer. Looking from a distance from a boat, it looks like the Potala Palace. It is also a spectacular sight like a mirage; there are also Qingbang Miaozi Lake, Bodhisattva Konglong Pants, Elephant Trunk Mountain, Baiyun Cave, the Legend of the Reclining Buddha in Xifu Mountain, and Leaf Island, a paradise for seabirds.

The main islands of Dongji Island:

1. Miaozi Lake

The water around Miaozi Lake Island is clear and rich in marine biological resources. It is an ideal place for the development of aquaculture. Miaozi Lake is an important part of the Zhoushan fishery and the center of the Zhongjieshan fishery. The survey shows that there are nearly 200 economic species of fish, 35 economic species of shrimp, nearly 35 economic species of crab, 25 economic species of marine shellfish, and 30 economic species of algae.

2. Qingbang Island

Qingbang Island is located in Zhoushan Islands and belongs to Dongji Town, Putuo District. It is 47.5 kilometers northeast of Shenjiamen Town, near Miaozi Lake Island in the west, with a land area of ??1.41 square kilometers, a beach area of ??2.37 square kilometers, and a coastline of 10.5 kilometers. The island has green grass and flowers, and is green in spring and summer. The surrounding sea water is indigo. The locals also call the seaside "Bang", hence the name Qingbang Island.

3. Dongfu Mountain

At the easternmost tip of the Dongji Islands in the East China Sea, there is a mountain that local fishermen jokingly call "the hometown of wind, the hotbed of rain, the kingdom of fog, and the land of waves". "The Cradle" is a deserted land, a remote island with an area of ??only 2.95 square kilometers and a permanent population of less than 50 people. Here is Dongfushan Island, the birthplace of the song "The Soldier's Second Hometown".
