Samsung Heavy Industry (Rongcheng) Co., Ltd., invested and built by South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industry Company, will settle in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. Samsung Heavy Industry decided to build a bigger shipyard in Rongcheng, Weihai, because the expansion land of its existing shipyard in China could not be solved. The shipyard covers an area of 2 million square meters, equivalent to half of its domestic shipyard's 4 million square meters in South Korea, with a total investment of 350 million US dollars.

Korea Daewoo Shipbuilding Ocean (Shandong) Co., Ltd., located in Yantai, is a large shipbuilding enterprise founded by Korea Daewoo Shipbuilding Ocean Co., Ltd. (DSME) in Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone in 2005. Daewoo Shipbuilding Ocean (Shandong) Co., Ltd. was originally designed as a comprehensive shipyard, which will be used as a production base to support the Yupu Shipyard of Daewoo Shipbuilding Ocean Engineering Company. However, due to some restrictions on foreign investment by the China government, the design was not approved by the China government, and the shipyard has always been a hull subsection manufacturing factory. With the rising labor costs and the cancellation of tax incentives in China, as well as the decline in domestic demand, business diversion is very necessary. In addition, the affordable extra cost of transforming into a comprehensive shipyard also plays an important role in its decision-making.

Yantai has Raffles Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., the former Yantai Shipyard, which is the only wholly foreign-owned company in China managed according to the advanced foreign model 1 0,000%. Its headquarters is in Singapore, and its ships are mainly marine engineering, yachts and floating docks.

There is also Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "North Shipbuilding Industry"). In July 2004, CSIC signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Qingdao Municipal Government and decided to build a ship repair base in Haixi Bay, Qingdao. Two ship repair docks with 300,000 tons and150,000 tons were completed and put into operation in July 2005.

Haixi Bay Ship Repair Base is building the largest 300,000-ton and 500,000-ton docks in China. After completion, supertankers, bulk carriers at the Cape of Good Hope, 8,000 container ships and offshore oil drilling platforms can be built. It is planned to be completed on April 1 day, 2009, with a construction period of 25 months.

Shandong Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (Huanghai Shipyard) mainly builds fishing boats, including trawlers and tuna boats. There are also small and medium-sized shipyards such as Lingshan Shipyard and Weihai Shipyard (currently being relocated and expanded).

In addition, there are the 4809 factory of the Navy in Weihai, Shandong Province, the 4808 factory of another shipyard of the Navy in Qingdao, and the 4808 factory of Weihai Shipyard.

Xixiakou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a large-scale enterprise integrating ship repair and shipbuilding, which belongs to China Xixiakou Group Company. Mainly build and repair all kinds of fishing boats, cargo ships, oil tankers and engineering ships.

Sailing Company is the former Qingdao Shipyard. Qingdao Shipyard is an old shipyard established in 1949. It was once the only local enterprise that produced surface warships in China, and produced the first 5000 dwt general cargo ship in Shandong Province. Today, Qingdao Shipyard has been transformed into Qingdao Yang Fan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. ..

The factory is located at No.25, Sichuan Road, with nearly 1,000 employees, covering an area of148,000 square meters, including a building area of 65,000 square meters. Most workshops are in tatters now. Shipyard is the first batch of heavy industrial enterprises in Qingdao after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It produced the first 5000-ton cargo ship, the first shallow draft water jet propulsion multi-purpose tugboat, the first high-powered electric propulsion multi-purpose tugboat and the first luxury tourist boat with glass curtain wall along the coast in Shandong Province. It has a glorious history.
