Wulong is located in the southeast edge of Chongqing, downstream of Wujiang River, at the junction of Wuling Mountain and Dalou Mountain. It is 82.7 kilometers long from east to west and 75 kilometers wide from north to south. The county covers an area of 290 1.3 square kilometers.
