Haiwangjiu Island is located at the northeast end of Changshan Islands in Changhai County, with Zhuanghe South 15 nautical miles to the north and 60 nautical miles to the mouth of Yalu River to the east. It is the most splendid scenic spot in Changshan Islands Scenic Area (provincial level). The whole area consists of Neptune, Little Neptune, Thin dragon three and six small islands, such as Yuanbao, Turtle, Well Frog, Elephant Watching, Double Lion and Tuanhe, which are shaped like turtles, elephants, lions and frogs, so they are called Neptune Nine Islands.
