Introduction to Xujiahe Tourist Resort

Xujiahe Lake is a natural swimming pool with vast surface and clear water. Every midsummer, this place is crowded with tourists. Hubei Province and the original Xiaogan area have held many swimming competitions here, and countless swimming athletes have been born here. In September 1982, Yu Jianling, a farm girl from Changling Town who won the first place in the women's 100-meter fin swimming at the China, France, and Sweden International Scuba Diving Invitational Tournament, swam to the world swimming scene from here. The No. 1 dam of the Xujiahe Reservoir was built in 1958, with a total length of 1,000 meters. Whenever night falls, the dam looks like a rainbow falling to the ground or a dragon emerging from the water under the light, and the scenery is spectacular. The five characters "Xujiahe Reservoir" on the slope of the dam are vigorous and powerful, and have been praised by calligraphy experts.
