How long does it take to apply for a visa in Japan?

If you are traveling on business, there are two kinds of business visas in Japan. The first is single entry in March, and the other is multiple entry within one year. Generally speaking, it takes four to six working days to process these two kinds of business visas.

If you want to visit friends in Japan, you need to apply for a visa to visit relatives and friends in Japan. The time required to issue this visa is basically the same as that of a business visa, and it takes four to six working days.
