If you want to travel to Hubei, Wudang Mountain is not to be missed.

Wudang Mountain is a national scenic spot, a national AAAAA tourist area and a world cultural heritage.

Wudang Mountain, also known as Taihe Mountain, is located in the south of Shiyan City, Hubei Province. The earliest temple in Wudang Mountain was built in the Tang Dynasty. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, after Emperor Ming Taizu built the Forbidden City in Beijing, Guo Jin, assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry, led his original team into Wudang Mountain and built 7 palaces, 2 temples, 36 temples and 72 cliff temples.

Wudang Mountain is famous for its magnificent architectural scale. The existing ancient buildings adopt the royal architectural style, and the design and layout are unified. Its scale and spacing are just right, achieving the artistic effects of invisibility, light and shade, first raising and then restraining, calling back and forth, and mysterious detachment. 1982, the State Council announced Wudang Mountain as a national key scenic spot, saying that Wudang Mountain's ancient architecture project is huge and exquisite, which successfully embodies the artistic conception of "Fairy Mountain Qiongge", just like an exhibition of China's ancient architectural achievements. Mi Fei, a great painter in the Northern Song Dynasty, praised it as "the first mountain in the world".

Xuanyue Gate: The Xuan Yue Gate of Wudang Mountain is three four-column and five-story wood-like buildings, with a height of12m and a width of12.4m. It represents the "five cities and twelve floors" believed by Taoism, that is, this place is where people wait and meet immortals. Taoism regards the human throat as the "Twelve Pagodas" point, so it is called the first gate of Wudang Mountain at the turn of Yin and Yang, and is called the first pass of the celestial world. There is a saying in Wudang Mountain that "when you enter the Xuanyue Gate, you give your life to God", which means that after you enter this heaven, whether you live or die depends on yourself, whether it is a blessing or a curse.

Fuzhen Pavilion: also known as "Taizipo". According to legend, it was the earliest place where the later Emperor Xuanwu, Prince Jingle 15, lived when he entered Wudang Mountain. Because he was not determined on his way home, Yuan Jun, a quilt girl, touched him with an iron pestle and then went up the mountain again, hence the name Fuzhengguan.

Jin Dian, located on the pillar of the main peak of Wudang Mountain, is the largest bronze gilded temple in China. It was built in the 14th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (14 16). This hall is 5.5m high, 5.8m wide and 4.2m deep. The columns and caissons in the hall have exquisite patterns. There is a gold-plated pearl hanging on the caisson, which is called "Fairy Pearl in the Wind". Legend has it that this treasure can suppress the mountain wind and cannot blow into the temple gate to ensure the longevity of the magic lamp in the temple. In fact, the mountain wind can't blow in, because the walls and doors of the temple are tightly cast.

Kanatonouchi has a bronze statue of Zhenwu, weighing 10 ton. Outside the hall is the railing of Bai Yushi, and under the stage is the Purple City, which is about 1500m long. The city wall is made of huge rectangular stones on the mountain barrier. Built on the most majestic and steep Tianzhu Peak in Wudang Mountain, this golden palace has the effect of "golden palace in the sky". Zixiao Palace, built in the 11th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (14 13), is the main palace of Wudang Mountain and one of the best-preserved buildings. There are 860 halls, pavilions and corridors, which are grand in scale and extraordinary in style.
