Wanchang site

Wulongfu tourist attractions

Wanchang site, located in Wulong area of Thailand, is one of the most famous and thoroughly studied sites on the Nakhon Ratchasima Plateau in northeast Thailand. However, it is only one of many sites that constitute the cultural tradition of Wanchang. This tradition has been extended to many surrounding areas, such as Wulong area, Shagong Nakong area, Nakong Badong area and Kongjing area, covering an area of more than 49,000 square kilometers, and Wanchang itself may be an important center of this culture. Wanchang is regarded as the most important prehistoric settlement in the excavation area of Southeast Asia and the center of human culture, society and technological evolution. The website reflects the local agricultural cultivation, metal products manufacturing and use. The early black carved pottery found in Wanchang is a bit like the early black carved pottery found in Malaya, the Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia. Peacock and others claimed in 1978 that the later painted pottery was strikingly similar to the painted pottery in Yangshao, eastern Gansu, China, although there were differences between them for thousands of years. They think this similarity is only superficial. The Zhou Dynasty halberd appeared from 700 BC to 2 1 1 year BC and was found near Wanchang. The discovery of halberd has at least become evidence of direct or indirect trade between northeast Thailand and China. Because there are so many kinds of pottery that it is almost unbelievable, and the pottery forms made by ancient potters in Nakhon Ratchasima area are also diverse, many pottery has remained intact after several generations, so it is not reliable to make the year representative only by simple kinds.

The pottery and handicrafts excavated at the banta Institute of Archaeology in Concarn proved the high level of civilization at that time. Karaxing and Kunjing Mansions not far from the south, especially in Phu Wiang National Park, have developed into "Jurassic Parks" in Thailand. The most famous exhibition is Siamotyrannus Isanensis (Ethan is the abbreviation of this area), which is smaller than the general Tyrannosaurus rex, but it was the only tyrannosaurus rex that was fierce and carnivorous 20,000 years ago. 1984 was named in honor of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand.
