I don't think Yichang's practice has much effect. People will not increase their desire to travel just because they have a holiday for more than half a day. Many people choose to travel, mainly in the following aspects. First, in order to relax themselves, they choose to go out to play, so that they can temporarily forget the pressure of work and life. Secondly, in order to promote family harmony, the family will go out to play together and enjoy a happy life. Finally, some people love traveling very much, like to enjoy beautiful scenery and feel different customs.

Our normal holiday is two days a week. If individuals or families have travel needs, they will choose a travel route suitable for their own time planning. In my opinion, Yichang's 2.5-day vacation system is no different from before. We may be disappointed if we want to promote the development of tourism.

Looking back at the hottest period of tourism every year, first of all, we have the May 1 Golden Week and the 7-day National Day, and now there are more and more Spring Festival tours. The number of tourists in these periods is the highest in the whole year. Like ordinary weekends, many people will choose to rest at home or go shopping with friends after a busy week. Families with children will also choose to take their children out to eat some delicious food or play catch games. Therefore, this measure implemented by Yichang is actually meaningless to the general public.

It is worth noting that because of the epidemic in the first half of the year, everyone's income level has declined, and going out is still risky. People are still a little scared about crowded areas, preferring to stay at home or go to places where there are few people. Therefore, this practice in Yichang is ineffective at this critical period.

Finally, as a senior practitioner of the tourism industry, China's tourism industry has suffered a huge blow this year, but it is gradually recovering, and many regions are striving to promote local economic development. As a gold industry, tourism is favored by many people, but in the face of disasters, many people still put safety first.
