Rongcheng International Fishermen's Festival originated from the traditional Grain Rain Festival of local fishermen. They have entered the noble realm of singing, celebrating the harvest and singing and dancing from the simple expectation of offering sacrifices to the gods to ensure peace, which has made this activity more and more high and become an important cultural and entertainment content in Rongcheng fishermen's life. The first and second Rongcheng International Fishermen's Festival were held in Grain Rain, which lasted for two days. The third session (1993) was changed from July 24th to July 28th.
