But three days later, the old dog took the opportunity to sneak out to listen to the scriptures again. When Yueyin saw it, he couldn't help but turned pale and said to his disciples: "You didn't kill this dog, maybe So something bad happened!" So he quickly ordered his disciples to go to a certain family in a certain village to inquire, and sure enough they found a pregnant woman with a heavy belly who was still unable to give birth after giving birth for three days. Her life was in danger, and even the doctors were helpless.

After Yueyin learned about it, he told his disciples: "You can't bear to kill the dog, how can you bear to kill this woman? If the dog doesn't die, the fetus in the woman's belly will not be born!" Therefore. After ordering his apprentice to kill the dog, he immediately went to a certain house to inquire. Sure enough, the woman had given birth to a boy. Yueyin said to his apprentice: "This dog has achieved good results because of listening to the sutras." , I will be born into a certain family's child, and I may not be able to see how he will get a good fortune in the future. Maybe you can be a witness."

When this child gets older, he will come to the temple more often. And every time he left reluctantly, Yueyin often touched his head and said, "How good! You are indeed not ignorant of your roots, but because you still have a little wealth and honor, it is not suitable to stay here."

When the child grew up, he became a minor official and his family had quite a lot of savings. In his later years, he often stayed in the temple and invested heavily in renovating the old and dilapidated temple and supporting the monks in the temple. , and later lived to be more than seventy years old before passing away.
