Xitang-Wuzhen-Hangzhou Six-Day Guide, For reference only
DAY1 Fuzhou-Xitang
Take the Fuzhou train to Jiashan Station or Jiaxing South Station (more frequent trains). There is a bus directly to Xitang at the exit. If you carpool, it will cost about 40 yuan. The drive is less than an hour. Tickets for Xitang are 100 yuan.
Xitang is very small, with only two or three connected streets, such as Tangdong Street, West Street, Yanyu Corridor, and some wood carving exhibition halls, tile exhibition halls, button museums, etc. You can visit them all in 2-3 hours. over.
Go to Dabing’s hut in the evening and order a bottle of Fenghuaxueyue or Dawusu. Do you still remember that night when the folk singer sang the ballad of the horse, living underground, the night in Ulaanbaatar, and tonight?
DAY2 Xitang-Wuzhen
In the morning, we walked around Xitang and took some antique photos. In the afternoon, head to Wuzhen. Xitang and Wuzhen are both the four famous towns in the south of the Yangtze River, and the remaining two are Zhouzhuang and Tongli.
Xitang Bus Station (not far from the scenic spot) has a direct bus to Wuzhen. The fare is 23 yuan and the journey takes about one hour.
Wuzhen is divided into east, south, west and north gates. Generally, accommodation is in the east and west gates, and the combined ticket is 200 yuan. Nanbei Zha is a relatively pure living area full of market atmosphere, and there is no charge. We chose to stay in Xizha. The night view of Xizha is extremely beautiful and should not be missed.
DAY3 Wuzhen
Wuzhen is larger than Xitang, but the scenery is similar. There are many various exhibition halls, such as the Hundred Beds Pavilion, Jiangnan B&B Pavilion, Winery, Dyeing Workshop, Wood Sculpture Exhibition Hall, and Mao Dun’s Former Residence. , Shaoming Academy, Wuzhen Post Office? Don’t worry too much about the route, the ancient town just stops and goes according to your mood.
DAY4 Wuzhen-Hangzhou West Lake-Bao_Ta
There is a bus from Wuzhen to Hangzhou in half an hour, the fare is 27 yuan, and the journey takes 1.5-2 hours. For accommodation in Hangzhou, you can choose Airbnb B&Bs or youth hostels around Hupao Road, Hefang Street, and West Lake. The prices are not high and travel is convenient.
It’s very tiring to visit the West Lake. Prepare water and power bank. Mainly go for a walk + enjoy a bicycle. The scenic spots form a large closed loop and the route is in sequence: Broken Bridge with Remaining Snow, Baidi, Pinghu Qiuyue, Zhongshan Park , Quyuan Fenghe, Yuewang Temple, Su Di Spring Dawn, Three Ponds Reflecting the Moon, Huagang Fish Watching, Nanping Evening Bell, Leifeng Pagoda, West Lake Heaven and Earth, West Lake Musical Fountain. It just happens to be a big circle, and there is no need to complete it all, because you will definitely come to Hangzhou again in the future.
The mountain light is quiet against the mist and waves, and the shadow of the tower is clear between the water and the moon. The Bao Pagoda is located on Baoshi Mountain next to the White Causeway of West Lake. You can see the panoramic view of West Lake from the mountain and it is worth a visit. The Bao Pagoda was built during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Many people can see it in the West Lake, but few people go up to it. In fact, the mountain is not high and there are few people. The scenery is great and the pagoda is also unique.
DAY5 Zhejiang University Zhijiang Campus-Yunqi Bamboo Path-Lingyin Temple-Hefang Street
The Zhejiang University Zhijiang Campus next to the Qiantang River has more than 20 old brick buildings with a long history , the campus is not large as a whole, but it is extremely exquisite. The architecture is in the style of the Republic of China. The movie Tangshan Earthquake was filmed here.
The bus arrives at Zhejiang University Zhijiang Campus Station. Remember to bring your ID card to register.
Take 103 or 324 from Jiuxi Bus Station next to Zhijiang Campus to reach Yunqi Zhujing Station. The ticket is 8 yuan. The most beautiful bamboo sea in West Lake is the filming location of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I personally like this place of meditation. Opposite there is the lonely Meijiawu red tree.
The Yunqi Zhujing bus goes directly to Lingyin Temple (Tian San Zhu). Through the thin mist of the West Lake and parting the low-hanging curtain of Feilai Peak, one can see Lingyin Ancient Temple, one of the top ten ancient temples in China. Sitting in the winding green mountains, Zen has gone through nearly 1,700 springs and autumns. This is the place where Jigong became a monk. It is said that asking for a signature is very effective. The ticket is 75 yuan (including Feilai Peak). As for Feilai Peak, I did not go up. If you have time, you can take a taxi for 20 yuan to Longjing Village, the No. 1 Chaxiang Village. Personally, I think it is similar to the area around Yunqi Bamboo Trail.
In the evening, take the bus to Wushan Bus Station (or Wushan Square) and go to Hefang Street, a good place for shopping, eating and drinking tea. It was once the "Imperial City Root" of Hangzhou, the ancient capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, and Hangzhou's famous " "Five Hang" (Hangjian, Hangfan, Hangfen, Hangyan, Hangxian) are all available. If you have time, slip into Dajing Alley behind Hefang Street. It is a real tranquility in the bustle.
DAY6 Baita Park-Liuhe Pagoda-Mantoushan Community-Fenghuang Yuyuan
Baita Park is smaller and is the end point of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the first in Hangzhou. The starting station of the railway. Take bus 308/109 and get off at Baitaling. As a train theme park, it has a sense of age and is suitable for taking pictures. Baita Park is less than 700 meters away from the Liuhe Pagoda. The entrance fee is 20 yuan, and climbing the tower is 10 yuan. You can have a panoramic view of the Qiantang River from the tower.
Take the 190 bus from Liuhe Pagoda on Zhijiang Road to Brahma Temple Station and you will find Mantoushan Community. It is an authentic old Hangzhou style area and a niche check-in place. You can take photos of many unique life scenes. Vintage photo.
There is the Phoenix Yuyuan Cultural and Creative Base in Mantoushan Community. It inherits the industrial architectural style of the 1980s and has traces of vicissitudes of history everywhere. There are many cultural and creative shops worth visiting, or sitting down and relaxing. Have a cup of coffee quietly. Take Route 30/116 or Metro Line 5 to Hangzhou Station and return.
