1. The Myanmar jadeite deposit is located in the Buyou area of ??the Wulu River northwest of Mogok in northern Myanmar. The primary mineral belt is 250km long and 10-25km wide. It runs northeast and the primary jadeite mineral point has been identified. 20 locations, mainly divided into three mining areas: Houjiang Mining Area, Pagang-Daomao Mining Area, and Mogang Mining Area.
2. Among them, the Pagang-Daomao mining area is the largest and most famous mining area, and it is also the oldest mining area. It is located in the Kachin hills in northern Myanmar, about 113km northwest of Magang Town and 193km north of Mandalay. The center of the mining area is Daojie Village. The mining area is bounded by the Wulu River in the east and the Chindon River in the west. The north and south boundaries are the 26o and 25o latitudes respectively. The mining area is in the shape of a strip. The ore body runs north-northeast. The mining area covers an area of ??approximately 2071 square kilometers.
