Chiwan ancient fort tourist attractions

The base of Fort City is made of large granite, and the entrance of Fort City is in the north. There are still two houses in the east and west hatchbacks, which were the homes of the soldiers who guarded the fort in those days.

The high platform in the south is about 8 meters wide and is used by artillery positions. On the battery, an ancient gun looked at the Pearl River Estuary. Although the barrel is rusty, its majestic and unyielding posture can still be vaguely seen.

On the wall to the west of the battery, two hundred-year-old banyan trees deeply embedded their roots in the wall, closely intertwined with the wall, almost integrated with the wall, and there is no fertile soil. They are flourishing and their lives are so tenacious; Life is so strong.

To the north of the left battery is a bronze statue of Lin Zexu, carved on 1985, the bicentennial of Lin Zexu's birth. The bronze statue is 3.2 meters high and weighs 1.8 tons. It is the largest bronze statue of Lin Zexu in China. This statue was created by Tang Daxi, a famous sculptor in China. On the front of the marble pedestal is the "Lin Zexu Memorial Hall" inscribed by the late calligrapher Zhao Puchu, and on the north is an inscription by Mr. Xie Hua. The great patriot Lin Zexu, wearing a monocle and holding a sword, stared at the rough sea with his eyes shining.

When Lin Zexu and Humen put out opium, they were dismissed from office and exiled, although they were arrogant and bullying the ocean. On the lonely ocean, the invaders' powerful ships and guns were swaggering and the land was destroyed; /kloc-today, more than 60 years later, the ceded land has returned to the embrace of the motherland, and the mountain is already a busy port. Perhaps, Lin Zexu is also very pleased to see today's lonely ocean.
