When drawing some tourism planning maps with CAD, circles are often drawn with thick dotted lines. How to do this?

1. Adjust the line shape to a dotted line (or the required line shape) and set it as the current line shape.

2. Draw a circle or the shape you want. (The line width of the drawn circle is 0)

3. Cut the circle into small gaps (because there is no way to match the multi-segment lines without cutting, the specific reasons have not been clarified. If you cut a small gap, you can't see it with the naked eye)

4. Enter the command PE to match the circle into a polyline.

5. Enter the pe command again to change the line width of the circle to the required width.

Note: Pay attention to the linear scale, and use Ctrl+ 1 to adjust the scale, otherwise it will look like a continuous line!

When drawing an ellipse, the above method cannot be used! But you enter the command pellipse, convert the value to 1, and then draw an ellipse. The ellipses drawn are all polylines. PE can be used to adjust the line width and scale. It's okay!

In addition, you can directly draw a circle with a dotted line, then adjust the line width in the Properties toolbar, and click the line width button in the Object Capture column to display the line width, but that's not the same as what you said in the picture, so the printed line thickness will be round. !
