At the beginning of 1999, Mr. Lian, an overseas Chinese living in Australia, returned to China to invest in the third project, which is a large-scale agricultural project introduced by Longyan Municipal Committee, Municipal Government, Silla District Committee and District Government around the strategy of restructuring state-owned farms and expanding agricultural industrialization. In March, 1999 with the support and encouragement of the leaders of the municipal government, Mr. Lian, an overseas Chinese living in Australia, signed an overall development agreement with the Agricultural Bureau of xinluo district, Longyan City. 1On April 9, 1999, with the approval of the Fujian Provincial People's Government, Longyan Genting Tea Garden Co., Ltd. was established on May/19991/kloc-0 with an investment of 2.5 million US dollars, mainly engaged in the development of high-quality tea gardens, tea processing, production and sales; Gaoyou agricultural demonstration zone for sightseeing and so on. With the efforts of Genting people for more than nine years, * * * invested nearly 80 million yuan to build 1000 mu organic tea garden, a modern tea processing factory and 32 tourist reception places. In 2004, it passed the double certification of ISO900 1:2000 quality management system and ISO14001:KLOC-0/996 environmental management system. It is the first ecological high-quality agricultural park in western Fujian that integrates scientific research, development, production, training, tourism, sightseeing and leisure. It is listed as a leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Longyan City and a star overseas Chinese-funded enterprise in Fujian Province. In 2006, it was rated as a national agricultural tourism demonstration site by the National Tourism Administration and listed as a key construction project in Fujian Province by the Forestry Department of Fujian Province in 2007.
