There are two ways to apply for a tourist visa in Thailand:

Visa before departure: apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate or travel agency before departure.

Visa on arrival: after arriving in Thailand, apply for a visa before entering Thailand.

Visa before departure

Processing mode

There are generally two ways to apply for a visa before departure in Thailand:

① Going to the embassy or consulate: 3 working days, 230 yuan/person, which requires a lot of materials.

② Travel agency: 5-8 working days, 250-280 yuan/person, and less materials are needed.

Venue: Thai Embassy in China (Consulate)

Visa fee: 230-280 yuan

Visa validity: 3 months

Length of stay in Thailand: 60 days

Materials needed for processing

1. Passport valid for more than 6 months and its copy;

2. Completed tourist visa application form;

3. A 3.5 * 4.5cm color bareheaded photo taken within half a year;

4 copies of the round-trip ticket and confirmation ticket, including the ticket number;

5. The original letter of guarantee in English or Thai issued by the applicant's domestic work unit, school or sub-district office (including the applicant's name, purpose of going to Thailand and duration of stay in Thailand; The letter must ensure that the applicant returns to China on schedule, and attach the address and telephone number of the company. The letter must also be stamped with the official seal of the company and contain the name, position and signature of the person in charge. )

PS: If you are accompanied by a child, you should show relevant certificates. (Hukou book, copy of the child's birth certificate or marriage certificate)

Note: If you are looking for a travel agency, you only need to provide your passport and photos.

Treatment process

Decide whether to go to the embassy or the travel agency first.

Arrival visa

Basic information

Logout time: immediately

Venue: After arriving in Thailand, it will be handled at the entry airport.

Visa fee: 2000 baht (400 yuan, only Thai baht).

Visa validity: 15 days

Length of stay in Thailand: 15 days

Materials needed for processing

1 Passport is valid for at least 6 months.

2. Two-inch bareheaded photo with white background.

3. Carry 10000 (personal) and 20000 (family) baht in cash or equivalent foreign currency with you.

The Immigration Bureau of Thailand will randomly check and take it with you, and you don't need to hand it in.

4. Round-trip air tickets for less than 15 days (e-ticket printed version)

PS: If you are accompanied by a child, you should show relevant certificates. (Hukou book, copy of the child's birth certificate or marriage certificate)

Note: landing visa visa fee is only Thai baht, and foreign currency equivalent can be prepared for cash spot check.

Treatment process

On the plane to Thailand, the flight attendants will distribute the entry card to each passenger and fill it out. (See the access card below)

② After getting off the plane, you can find the "visa on arrival" directly in the visa on arrival.
