At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu left many legends here, and the allusions of Zhanyuanquan, Wulongquan, Bailongquan, Horseshoe Spring and Horse Running Spring have been passed down to this day. Because of good soil and water conservation and sweet water quality, Zhanheyuan has been used to planting lotus roots since ancient times.
