The eastern edge of the basin is the only passage for Lushi ancient country to enter and leave Heluo area, and the waterway traffic meets, which is a rare traffic artery deep in the mountains. Over time, Shi lived in the village, which is now the village of Guxian Town, Luoning County, located at the exit of Luohe Canyon. Although they belonged to two different cities, Luoyang and Sanmenxia belonged to Lushi before Qin and Han Dynasties.

In the 1990s, in order to make full use of the water resources in the canyon and give full play to the multiple functions of flood control, irrigation and power generation, Guxian Reservoir was finally completed after several stops, with a total storage capacity of nearly 654.38+02 billion cubic meters, forming a vast water surface of 35 square kilometers. Luohe Gorge has also become a part of the reservoir, and "Gaoxia Pinghu" has become a great scenic spot in the deep mountains of western Henan.

At that time, Xishi Village, surrounded by mountains and rivers, became the first village to be flooded, and needed to emigrate as a whole. The whole village retreated to the highland behind the village, retaining the original place names.

Guxian Reservoir therefore has a beautiful name-Xizi Lake Scenic Area. The location of Xishi Village has become the core area of Xizi Lake Scenic Area.

Go to Xizi Lake Scenic Area, drive from Lu Zheng Expressway to Lushi, turn to Baguan Line of Provincial Highway 323 in Guxian Township, turn to Township Road 028 in Duhe Village and go to Xizi Lake Scenic Area. Now Xishi village is located on the north bank of the reservoir, and there is a large area of grassland on the other side. On one side is clean Yang Shulin, and on the other side is a rippling lake. The fertile silt beach is covered with all kinds of weeds, flat and soft.

Every spring, the grass becomes full of vitality. Colorful wildflowers, full of grass, have opened the tourist season here, and self-driving tourists from far and near come here. From spring to late autumn, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, fishing and parties are very lively.

This grassland has not been systematically developed. Self-driving from Guxian Town to the mountain through the reservoir management area, along the ridge in the direction of North Kiln and Kiln Tile all the way to the end, the distance is about 10 km. Downhill is the largest grassland in the reservoir area.

There is no charge for entering grasslands and Woods except riding horses. Occasionally, tourists swim and play in the water, pay attention to safety.

The Luohe Gorge between Xishi Village and Fanli Town was dug by the ancient "Dayu led Luo from the bear's ear" and was called "artificial canyon" in ancient times. From Shanhekou in Fanli Town of Lushi to Xishi Village in Guxian Town of Luoning, although the water distance is only a dozen kilometers, the scenery in the canyon has both magnificent nature and heavy human factors, which is the essence of tourism in western Henan.

In ancient times, "Dayu guided Luo to follow Xiong's ear" and left the ancient word "pheasant" in the canyon, which is said to be the only handwriting of Shen Yu. Due to the rapid current, many passing ships are in danger of capsizing and destruction. The boatmen built the "Wang Yu Temple" in the most dangerous place to protect the safety of passing ships.

Therefore, this section of the canyon has also become a scenic spot for celebrities and scholars to enjoy poems by boating, and many poems and songs are engraved on the cliffs on both sides.

The most magnificent scenery in the canyon is the strange peaks, rocks and beautiful waters on both sides. Or like a dragon playing in the water, or like a goddess looking forward to her husband; It's like a fairy playing chess, and this is Malik Pentium.

At present, the canyon is still in a primitive and undeveloped state, and it is a place where many road trip fans fish and camp. Campers in twos and threes fish and relax in 18 sets of coastal grass, while cows lie lazily on the coastal grass and chew, enjoying the coolness and relaxation of the canyon.

The Sanhe Estuary in the town used to be an ancient ferry, and now there are still boatmen named Chen who run several iron boats here for people in the upper and lower reaches to sail. With the improvement of various roads, business is getting worse every day, but Mr. Chen is still cheerful. While serving tourists and villagers, he also enjoyed the scenery of the canyon and became an ordinary and classic scenery of the canyon.

Shanhekou is the entrance to Luohe Canyon. In order to connect the banks of Pinghu in Gaoxia, a single-span arch bridge was built with a clear distance of118m. Flying in the air is spectacular, and the two sides have become smooth roads.

This is the "land where immortals lead Luo", which flows into Lushi Basin in the west and Luohe Grand Canyon in the east. Luoshui and Fanli River meet, forming a lake since ancient times, and convenient land and water transportation makes it a distribution center for all kinds of commodities in Lushi Mountain area.

Over time, the lake here became "Fan Li Lake" and the town became "Fan Li Town", which has continued to this day.

The scenery at the mouth of the mountain and river lies in the single arch with eaves and walls, the lead of Dayu and the Pinghu in the canyon. Fan Li Lake has long since disappeared, and Fan Li Town has fallen behind as a whole due to reservoir resettlement. Relying on the wetland and grassland in the reservoir area, a new "Fan Li Theme Park" will be built, and various tourism resources will make Fan Li a good place with beautiful scenery, magical legend and leisure and holiday.

All the scenic spots in Fanli Town are free, attracting a large number of tourists from all directions to visit the Dayu site, enjoy the scenery of the canyon, and have a leisure trip on weekends. Interested tourists can take the boatman Lao Chen's "cruise ship" and visit the scenery on both sides of the strait back and forth along the canyon.
