Xinshi ancient town: Jiangnan flowing water town, undeveloped. Travel as much as possible.
I rode an electric car to Deqing New Town some time ago. The new town is not far from Hangzhou, 30 kilometers, which belongs to the place where I can reach by lifting my feet, just within the endurance of my electric car. Plus 10 years ago, I went to this quiet ancient water town and wanted to see it again, so I quietly went on the road that night.
How do foreign tourists get to the new town? Look at Zheng's strategy:
High-speed train: Hangzhou East → Deqing, the whole journey 13 minutes, second class 16 yuan. It takes about 40 minutes to take a taxi from Deqing Station to Xinshi Ancient Town, which is about 100 yuan.
Bus: There are buses from Hangzhou Bus Station, Hangzhou North Railway Station and Hangzhou Passenger Transport Center Station to Xincheng, which takes about 1.5 hours, and the fare is 25-28 yuan.
Self-driving: The whole journey is 55km, about 1 hour, passing through Qiu Shi Elevated Road and Lianhang Expressway.
It's already past 7 pm in the new town, so start taking pictures quickly. The following photos were all taken with mobile phones. Now I want to go to a place to play, and I am more and more reluctant to take pictures with my camera. How convenient the mobile phone is, I will send a circle of friends when I finish.
Moreover, the mobile phone handles the night scene more beautifully. I like shooting at night. We saw more scenery during the day. The scenery at night, covered with colorful flowers, presents a different kind of beauty, which is the silence behind the noise and colorful black. I am always moved, so the following pictures were taken with my mobile phone at night. Please make do.
The new town is not big, so you can visit it in an hour or two. The new town doesn't need tickets, but some points come in and ask for money. It's small, and there are not many things. Just hanging out.
There are hundreds of ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River, including the prosperity of Wuzhen, the petty bourgeoisie of Xitang, the freshness of Nanxun and the classics of Zhouzhuang. But none of them are my favorite ancient water towns. There are more tourists than locals, and they have lost their original flavor.
It used to be the largest water transport terminal on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, but after the ups and downs of history, it is no longer prosperous. Strolling on the stone road, the commercial ports on both sides are dotted, and the lively scenes of the past seem vivid.
The new town is more like a place for local people to relax. Because it's not a weekend, few tourists come here. It has become a place where local people get together for tea and chat. Listening to Wu Nong's soft Deqing dialect, one after another, I feel that this is a living water town.
Everything here is engraved with the imprint of the old times. For example, the hotel under Taiping Bridge, although the word hotel has been covered, can still see the smell of fireworks in the past.
When other ancient towns are booming, the new ancient town is still low-key and introverted, calm and calm. The goal it pursues is not just a lively tourist attraction, but to leave a living ancient town, which is exactly what I like.
Although such an ancient town is included in the seven ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River, its reputation is much smaller than that of Zhouzhuang Wuzhen. Let's go for a walk on the weekend before the tour group invades us. We should go to such a place before it is too late.
Well, friends, if you need to know more, you can pay attention to "Zheng is elsewhere" Next, I want to write an article about the new city ten years ago and today's, of course, the new city during the day.
