What do you need to prepare for traveling to Korea in summer?
South Korea has a humid and hot summer from June to August. The average temperature in summer is 22~26℃, which is not very hot from the meteorological point of view, but it is wet and hot due to the geographical characteristics of Korea. Therefore, it is best to wear a cotton T-shirt that is breathable and easy to absorb sweat in summer. From the end of June to the middle of July, the whole country entered the rainy season, with rainfall of 200~400㎜. After the rainy season, the temperature rises, the highest temperature reaches 34℃, and sometimes the lowest temperature exceeds 25℃ in a day, resulting in tropical night phenomenon. Because of this weather, Koreans will have a summer vacation of 3-7 days from the end of July to the beginning of August. At the end of August, this hot weather will gradually end, and then there will be typhoons accompanied by strong winds and heavy rains. After the heavy rain, you can feel the arrival of autumn.
Dress: First of all, be "comfortable" when traveling. For example, it is best not to wear hard leather shoes, especially new shoes, to prevent blood bubbles from affecting the trip. Loose casual wear is preferred. It is best to wear a sun hat or use a sun umbrella when going out, because the sun is strong in summer and the long wave of ultraviolet rays does great harm to people's skin. Long-term direct sunlight can make people dizzy, get sunburned, and even cause various dermatitis.
Diet: Traveling abroad consumes a lot of water, so it is better to eat more soup and light food. It is best to eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, with some lean meat, and try to eat less fried and greasy food to prevent indigestion. Many people feel cold and thirsty when they see the spring water when they climb the mountain, so they drink happily regardless of the willy-nilly. This is actually a bad habit. Because some harmful minerals in the spring water exceed the standard, some places are seriously polluted, and drinking it is not good for your health.
Accommodation: You should choose a ventilated and transparent hotel, and choose a star-rated hotel if possible. You'd better take a hot bath and soak your feet before going to bed. If you walk too much, you should rub your feet, massage your calves and strengthen blood circulation. It is best not to turn on the air conditioner all night when sleeping, so as to avoid catching a cold and being weak the next day.
Swimming is indispensable for other summer outings. First of all, choose water quality. Some water quality is not clean, which not only causes serious damage to the skin, but also induces some diseases. It is best not to swim in the open air when the sun is strong, and it is best to use waterproof sunscreen. Finally, don't forget to take some medicine for heatstroke prevention and diarrhea when you go out.
Precautions:
Please take care of your personal belongings. Valuables can be left at the front desk or in the safe in your room.
The hotel offers free and pay TV. Before watching pay CCTV, please refer to the fee description before making a decision.
Please pay the personal phone bill, beverage bill and room key to the front desk when you check out.
