How did "Meiyuan" come into being?

There are many plum trees in Meiguan, which are said to have been planted by a poetess in the Northern Song Dynasty. At that time, the poetess went to Guangdong Yingde to work with her father. When she returned to China through Meiling, she found that there were few famous plums in Meiling, so she donated 30 trees to plant on the roadside. During the Southern Song Dynasty, Guan Rui of Nan 'an Zhijun also planted a large number of plums in Meiling, making Meiling worthy of the name. Less than a hundred years later, another Nan 'an Zhijun, Zhao Mengfu, discovered that the upper and lower post roads in Meiling were all plums, so he wrote the word "Meiyuan". At that time, Meiling was already a plum blossom in the mountains and plains, and its aroma was attractive. During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, local officials in Nan 'an and Nanxiong also planted pine plums in Meiling many times to give them their names, and once planted plums in Zhengde.
