Qi Gong, surnamed Aisin Giorlo, white, Manchu, was born on July 26th, 19 12. Now he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University. Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the Standing Committee, curator of central research institute of culture and history, director of the National Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee, honorary chairman of China Calligraphers Association.

He has been teaching for more than 60 years and has made outstanding achievements in the teaching and research of China classical literature. He trained a large number of classical literature teaching and research talents for the country and established the Li Yun Scholarship.
Qi Gong is also a famous contemporary painter and calligrapher in China. His old-style poems are also quite famous in the domestic and foreign poetry circles, so they are known as the "three musts" of poetry and calligraphy.
